Field Service Technician | Walker, MI
Salary Range: $50,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission manufacturing equipment at customer sites.
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on industrial machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
- Provide on-site technical support and training to customer personnel.
- Document all service activities, repairs, and parts used accurately.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company standards during field operations.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- 2-5 years of field service or industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Associate's degree or technical certification in Electromechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Strong customer service and communication skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics, use diagnostic tools, and work with PLC logic/industrial control systems.
Bonus Qualifications
- PLC/HMI programming experience (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell)
- Experience with advanced diagnostic tools (e.g., thermal imaging, vibration analysis)
- Bilingual proficiency, particularly in Spanish or German
- Formal IT/Networking certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+)
- Welding or light fabrication skills for on-site repairs
