Job DescriptionElectrical Project Manager
Founded in 1973, we are an electrical contractor with diverse experience levels in Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Construction. We are also experienced with Design/Build projects. We have continually grown for years and has a respected reputation in the Electrical Industry.
We currently have an opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager / Estimator to join our team. The attributes that will be key for the success of this individual include high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work well both individually and within a team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage projects from start to finish while maintaining maximum profitability and customer satisfaction.
Work with vendors to buy out lighting, gear, and other materials to meet customer needs
Prepare bids to be submitted to the owner including detailed take-off information, preferably in Accubid
Setup project to meet or exceed budgetary and timing goals
Assist in determining manpower needs by project
Maintain log of both approved and pending change orders
Utilize project planning tools to develop work schedules for the electrical crew, anticipate timing for ordering parts and supplies
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Minimum High school diploma or a GED required
Must have 5-10 years of electrical industry experience specifically as a Project Manager
Proficient in the use of standard office computer programs such as MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
Strong organizational skills to manage between 5-10 projects at a time
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
