Service Advisor – Mobile Diesel Repair (Houston Area)
We are a growing mobile diesel repair company looking for a Service Advisor to help manage customer communication, work orders, and job flow between customers, technicians, and the office.
This position is fast-paced and requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and good at communicating with both customers and technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Answer customer calls and emails for service requests
- Create and manage work orders
- Communicate job details between customers and technicians
- Provide estimates and get approvals for repairs
- Order parts and coordinate parts delivery to technicians
- Track job status and follow up with customers
- Assist with scheduling needs with dedicated dispatcher
- Ensure work orders are accurate and ready for invoicing
Requirements:
- Service advisor, service writer, or diesel/truck shop experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized and able to manage multiple jobs at once
- Basic knowledge of diesel trucks and trailers is preferred
- Experience with shop software is a plus
- Proficient with computers, email, and spreadsheets
