- Contract Duration: 12-months
- Worksite Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
- Compensation: $37.00-$67.00 per hour
What you’ll do as the Infrastructure Engineer:
- Conduct CAD design reviews for low voltage, electrical, and fixture plans to ensure compliance with standards
- Identify gaps or conflicts in designs, coordinate resolutions with teams and vendors, and track through completion
- Maintain accurate device counts to enable project managers to forecast deployment needs
- Support deployments by monitoring health, triaging real-time issues, and driving resolution
- Collaborate with engineering, deployment, and vendor partners to deliver high-quality, on-time projects
- Document design review outcomes, issue logs, and resolution timelines
- Contribute to continuous improvement of design review and deployment support processes
What you’ll bring to the Infrastructure Engineer role:
- 5–10 years of experience in field engineering, infrastructure deployment support, or related technical roles
- Proficiency with 3D CAD modeling and interpreting low voltage, electrical, and fixture plans
- Experience conducting CAD-based design reviews for infrastructure or technology deployments
- Strong knowledge of low voltage infrastructure, structured cabling, and hardware placement requirements
- Proven ability to track, document, and resolve design or deployment issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and vendors
- Experience supporting multi-site deployment programs or pilots
- Bonus: Familiarity with retail technology hardware (POS, IoT, networking), construction workflows, CAD tools/mark-up processes, or electrical planning for technology systems
