The Amatriot Group is seeking a Test Engineer who will develop, execute, and maintain software test architectures and plans in support of Product Lead Strategic Spectrum Warfare. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead analysis, evaluation, and performance verifications of hardware and software systems under test.
  • Support the development of test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability matrices, test reports, test flow, and test case design and implementation.
  • Lead formal systems acceptance testing activities.
  • Present test strategies, plans, and results to internal and external customers through formal and informal reports and briefings.
  • Produce comprehensive test documentation
  • Software/hardware testing, test environment development, fault analysis,
  • Integrate and test systems to the software/hardware level.
  • Document testing issues and failures and perform analysis of test results.
  • Evaluate new technologies and assess their maturity for implementation.
  • Sustain and maintain test environments for fielded systems.
  • Coordinate support across multiple PEOs and PMs.
  • Other duties may be assigned

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work in office/field/lab environments

Requirements:

  • Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
  • 10 or more years’ experience in test engineering.
  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experienced in engineering aspects of system design and functionality.
  • Experience dissecting system function(s) for application in system test(s). Requires demonstrated engineering skills and capabilities to implement and execute comprehensive system testing.
  • Experience in integrating and testing and analysis of embedded processing systems to the software/hardware level.
  • Experience in communications systems, software languages/software testing, networks, network security, power systems, antennas, RF, and/or mechanical design and analysis.
  • Experience with requirements analysis and verification.
  • Experiencing in developing test strategies, plans, reports, etc.
  • Experience with software testing methodologies and tools.
  • Experience working collaboratively with government personnel, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Preferred experience/skills

  • Experience with PEO IEW&S programs and systems.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and applications.
  • Experience with DoDI 5000.89, DoDM 5000.100 and/or Test and Evaluation Enterprise Guidebook.

Special Note:

The position is contingent upon candidate’s ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements. This position requires 25% travel to Army and contractor locations within CONUS
