George Junior Republic in Indiana seeks a community-based Administrative Assistant/Data Coordinator for the new grant-funded Pre-Adjudicated and Truancy Help (PATH) program. This is a two-year program funded by the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute.
Summary of the position: The PATH Administrative Assistant/Data Coordinator is a part-time position responsible for PATH data coordination and administrative duties.
Primary Duties:
- Administrative: This may include gathering data for measurement of goals and objectives, assisting with PATH events, general office duties, maintenance of client records, compliance with reporting requirements, adherence to organizational policies and procedures, etc.
- Productivity: This includes meeting all required GJR in IN deadlines
- Problem Solving and Decision Making
- Effectively communicating verbally and in writing
- Utilizing Microsoft office products or electronic health record
- Collaboration with supervisor and staff in the field.
Clients Served/Referral Sources:
Youth ages 8-18 in Bartholomew, Brown, Johnson, Posey, and Vanderburgh counties who may be referred for
- Chronic absenteeism
- Oppositional behavior
- Early substance use
- Other challenges linked to unmet behavioral health needs
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required; Associates degree preferred
- Organized
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft experience
- Valid transportation, driver's license, and car insurance
- Ability to engage with internal employees and stakeholders and external clients and community groups
