Overview
Commercial cleaning position for a large retail building, corporate office, and other buildings on the grounds after hours. The task included the following but not limited to, dusting the displays in multiple areas throughout the building, bathrooms, garbage removal, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, waxing, and stripping floors.
Responsibilities
- Perform both interior and exterior work assignments including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, masonry, electrical, and repair or maintenance of central heating and air conditioning systems.
- Complete ground maintenance to keep our buildings and grounds looking good and free of hazards.
- Assist in routine and preventative maintenance and repair on the facility as directed.
- Assist in the maintenance of the Company owned railroad tracks.
- Perform janitorial duties as needed.
- Coordinate with supervisor to determine maintenance needs.
- Purchases necessary parts and materials to complete work requests.
- Responds to emergency situations on an on-call basis when assigned.
- Ensure a safe construction area for all involved, including employees and the public.
- Ensure that company property and equipment is properly maintained and handled.
Qualifications
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
- Must be at least 18 years old
