Insurance Defense Attorney - Sacramento, CA
A respected Sacramento law firm is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to join its litigation team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a broad range of insurance defense matters and be comfortable managing cases independently through all phases of litigation. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging cases in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership and good standing with the California Bar
- 3+ years of insurance defense or civil litigation experience
- Strong knowledge of California civil procedure and court rules
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail and deadlines
- Trial or arbitration experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Defend clients in insurance defense matters, including personal injury, premises liability, and professional liability cases
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, law and motion practice, and trial preparation
- Draft and argue motions, including dispositive and procedural motions
- Conduct and defend depositions, including expert and fact witnesses
- Attend mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials
- Provide legal analysis and case strategy to clients and insurance carriers
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular updates on case progress
