Under the direction of the Professional Services Manager, the Technical Specialist will be trained in the industries we serve, how our solutions apply to them, the value proposition of our solutions, and how to deliver an excellent customer experience. In this position, there is substantial opportunity to learn, grown and develop with our rapidly growing company. Responsibilities:
- System hardware assembly, wiring, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and installation.
- Support manufacturing hardware used in conjunction with our solutions, including inkjet, laser, and label printing technology, scanners, imagers, and basic electrical components.
- Provide first-level hardware and software support to customer issues from the support line when resources require it.
- Conduct software testing to ensure reliability, performance, and compatibility of integrated systems.
- Manage and maintain CRM workflows, ensuring accurate tracking of customer interactions, service requests, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with engineering and support teams to identify and resolve technical challenges.
- Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge sharing and training purposes.
- Assist in evaluating new hardware and software technologies for potential integration into existing solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with one (1) year of experience in a technical support role
- Strong mechanical, electrical and troubleshooting skills
- Driven and willing to learn and grow
- Strong customer experience and interpersonal skills
- Willing and able to travel throughout North America, as needed
- Flexible and able to function independently and in team scenario
- Experience working within a CRM
