Requirements:
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Must be able to effectively communicate promotions and sales to customers
- Retail or related beauty industry experience strongly preferred and should be detailed in candidate's resume.
- Must have experience following planograms and visual merchandising directives
- Must have at least 1 year of management or assistant management experience. Details of which should be clearly outlined on their resume.
- Basic reading and math skills
- Ability to use computerized point of sale system
- 18 years of age and High School Diploma or equivalent GED, preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent bending and crouching while stocking shelves.
- Must be able to stand and walk about the store throughout scheduled shift
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and extend arms to reach merchandise and displays
- Must be able to work a mix of opening and closing shifts: Monday - Saturday between the hours of 7:45 am - 5:30 pm.
- Must be willing to work in Swansea, IL.
Job duties include:
- Opening and/or closing the store
- Reporting daily totals to accounting office
- Monitoring the sales floor to make sure shelves and displays are stocked and organized
- Keeping shelf tags up-to-date
- Daily goal tracking and monthly goal reviews with territory manager
- Ordering office supplies for location
- Handle customer questions and resolve customer service issues
- Cleaning and dusting of sales floor, stock room, bathrooms and other common areas.
- Handling customer transactions
- Processing and putting away weekly freight
- Reporting freight errors and defectives
- Taking daily bank deposits to bank
- Performing inventory cycle counts and inventory adjustments
- Setting up for in-store events
- Answering phones
- Picking and packing store pick up orders
- Merchandising displays using a visual directive
- Monitoring multiple digital communication platforms for updates and information
- Completing store remaps and planogram changes
- Managing daily workflows and delegating tasks as needed
- Ensuring the store is open during advertised hours and covering call-offs
Job Schedule:
Monday - Thursday: Open* - Close*
Friday: Off
Saturday: Open* - Close*
Sunday: Off
*Store opens to customers at 8am. Team members are expected to arrive with enough time to open the register and prepare the store to be open to customers by 8am. On weekdays, the store closes to customers at 5pm and team members are expected to complete closing procedures after that time. On Saturdays, the store closes to customers at 12pm and team members are expected to complete closing procedures after that time.
