Description:
Ready to get started with steady work? Ascend Staffing is hiring a Packing Operator in South Houston, Texas, paying $14 per hour. This is a great opportunity to join a hands-on industrial team and build practical warehouse and plant experience.
Job Summary
As a Packing Operator, you will help prepare, palletize, and move materials to support daily production needs. You will assist with plant clean-up and keep work areas organized, safe, and ready for the next task. This role includes working outdoors year-round, including in hot weather. You may also help connect and disconnect railcars while following site procedures and safety direction. A strong fit is dependable, safety-minded, comfortable with physical work, and able to communicate clearly in Spanish.

Required Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older
-
Spanish required; English a plus

Ability to work outdoors year-round, especially in hot weather

No previous experience required

Ability to lift at least 50 lbs

Ability to work Monday to Friday with some weekends and occasional early arrivals or late stays

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse tasks throughout the workday

Ability to follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions
