This is a paralegal position in trusts and estates. The position is in office to begin with and then after the probationary period, some work from home days will be provided on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to proof own work, organization ability, and the desire to work in an environment where you will be able to work, learn and receive invaluable training from an attorney.
Responsibilities
- Handle communication with clients via phone and email to obtain information, answer questions, provide updates
- oversee living trust and probate client case timelines
- Drafting of legal documents (probate pleadings, estate planning documents, real estate deeds)
- use Clio, DocuSign, court e-filing service providers, Outlook and Calendar;
Qualifications
- Paralegal training / certificate
- Prior Experience in legal setting
- ability to proof own work and present clean work product
- ability to organize and keep track of numerous cases and tasks
- able to present a professional image
