Maintenance Technician

A manufacturing company in Round Lake, IL is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the efficient operation of our production facility. The Maintenance Technician will perform both preventive and corrective maintenance, assist with new equipment installations, and support facility projects in coordination with internal teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
• Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment, from planning to full implementation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, work orders, and reports.
• Assist with vendor and contractor scheduling for maintenance and facility projects.
• Ensure all Health, Safety, and Environmental standards are met at all times.
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development initiatives.
• Support new business initiatives and projects by evaluating maintenance impacts and requirements.

Requirements of the Maintenance Technician

• 5–7 years of experience in maintenance or manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automated systems; GMP knowledge preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, CMMS systems).
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.

1st shift, DIRECT HIRE

Pay is $30.00 - $32.00 an hour, based on experience
