mLINQS Software Consultant

Department: mLINQS Professional Services

Reports To: mLINQS Consulting Manager

Clearance: DOD Top Secret

We are looking for a well-rounded candidate who can understand customer needs, set up mLINQS software, provide support, write clear documentation, and create and deliver training. The right person can work independently, collaborate with a customer-focused team, and communicate clearly with clients.

The mLINQS Consultant will be the main point of contact for customers and will help them with Permanent Change of Station (PCS) processes and related entitlements. This person will also serve as the subject matter expert for mLINQS software, the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), Federal Travel Regulations (FTR), and Department of State Standardized Regulations (DSSR).

What You’ll Do

  • Work with clients: Learn about client needs, business processes, and workflows.
  • Set up software: Configure mLINQS to meet client needs.
  • Train users: Create and deliver training so clients can use the software effectively.
  • Solve problems: Identify software issues, troubleshoot them, and work with technical teams to fix them.
  • Create documentation: Write and update user guides, training materials, test plans, and configuration notes.
  • Test the software: Create test plans and test the software to make sure it works as needed.
  • Work with teams: Partner with different teams to make sure solutions meet customer needs.
  • Improve processes: Share client feedback to help improve the software, user experience, and implementation process.

What You’ll Need

  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
  • Five years of support experience, including software installation, setup, troubleshooting, and training.
  • BA/BS degree, or four additional years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills, including speaking, writing, and listening.
  • Strongproblem-solving skills,includingthe ability tounderstandissuesandfindsolutions.
  • Strong skillswithMicrosoft 365,including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, andTeams.
  • Experience working with CSV files and Excel pivot tables.
  • Abilitytolearnandmaintainstrongknowledge ofthemLINQSapplication andbasicSQL scripting.
  • Ability to learn andmaintainknowledge of JTR, FTR, and DSSR travel regulations.

Work Location & Flexibility:

Casepoint is located in Washington, D.C., and this position is required to report to the customer location in Springfield, VA between 2 and 5 days per week. When not working at a customer location, the resource will work remotely from home. This position will also be expected to travel to other customer locations as needed (approximately 10% travel).
