Full-Time Position

$62,400 annually

Job Summary: The Site Manager is responsible for the successful operation of the property, staff, and residents of the facility. They oversee the well-being of the residents and the day-to-day operations. They coordinate care of residents. The Manager is well-versed in the culture and model of Switchpoint, led by example, and cultivates a successful environment. Duties include managing personnel, complying with grant and contract requirements, monitoring budgets, and evaluating staff performance. They work closely with the Regional Director.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility.
  • Ensure full compliance with policies and procedures and other contracts the property is included in.
  • Ensure full compliance with DHHS License Requirements and Guidelines.
  • Attend City and County meetings associated with the facility.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with CARE/ACT Teams.
  • Handling resident complaints and reporting any maintenance issues to the maintenance department.
  • Manage budget of the facility. Review Profit & Loss Statements.
  • Develop community relationships.
  • Review resident issues with ACT teams and applicable staff.
  • Ensure all decisions are made in the best interests of Switchpoint and management.
  • Be mindful of the budget of the property and budget of all departments of the facility.
  • Reduce resident turnover, quickly fill any vacancies.
  • Hold residents accountable to the rules and policies of the facility.
  • Helping with the procurement of operating supplies and equipment and contracting third-party vendors for essential equipment and services.
  • Act as a final decision maker in hiring of key staff.
  • Coordination with all necessary departments for the execution of activities and functions.
  • Overseeing and managing all property departments and working closely with department heads daily.
  • Provide coverage as needed to fill staff vacancies.
  • Be accountable for the responsibilities of department heads and take ownership of all resident complaints and issues.
  • Provide effective leadership to team members.
  • Must learn the software “UHMIS” Utah Homeless Management Information System to keep staff accountable for updating it, keep compliance with grants, and run reports as needed.
  • Respond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved.
  • Take part in new resident acquisition along with the case management team whenever required.
  • Responsible for safeguarding the quality of operations (internal & external audits).
  • Responsible for legalization, Occupational Health & Safety Act, fire regulations and other legal requirements.
  • Cooperate with other Switchpoint facilities or community partners as needed.
  • Other responsibilities as needed by the Regional Director or senior management that pertain to the facility.
  • Complete weekly and monthly reports (KPI’s) for Regional Director and CEO.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate is a seasoned and highly intelligent professional with outstanding management skills and extensive hands-on experience. Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills; capable of making quick yet sound judgments and decisions.
  • A BS degree in a human services field with experience in management of operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to learn new software as needed.
  • 4+ years in the human services industry. Ideally, with experience serving individuals who are struggling with mental health issues and have very little to no income.
  • 3+ years in Management, with preference given to property or facility management

Compensation

Wage starting at $62,400 annually
