Job DescriptionCodeworks is an IT Services firm headquartered in SE Wisconsin, known for our strong commitment to quality and for our direct client relationships.
Who We’re Looking For:
Contract to hire computer support analyst with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for assigned tasks. Experienced responding to and prioritizing requests via phone, voicemail, email, and walk-ups. Assist internal and external users with hardware, software, and network issues on company-provided systems. Able to identify root causes, troubleshoot, and accurately document actions and time in a work-order system.Additional details: This position requires the successful completion of a sheriff's background and fingerprint check after the offer.Candidates must have a Valid Driver’s License. Minimal travel to other county buildings. Mileage will be reimbursed.Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, understanding and utilizing proper body mechanics.
Responsibilities:
- Develop technical proficiency in Windows, Active Directory, Citrix, Microsoft Office, and core networking concepts.
- Consistently troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and basic networking issues, escalating when appropriate.
- Use company tools such as the IT work-order system, imaging/deployment platforms, and automated update tools.
- Prepare and update user training materials and documentation.
- Configure, test, and deploy new or replacement hardware and software, maintaining device images and inventory.
- Monitor critical systems, respond to alerts, and participate in the on-call rotation.
- Maintain accurate records for licenses, warranties, and equipment moves.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with modern Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and common add-ons (e.g., Java, Adobe).
- Knowledge of Active Directory, domains, group policies, antivirus/malware remediation, Citrix products, and basic networking (wireless, client/server).
- Ability to set up and troubleshoot PCs, laptops, thin clients (e.g., Wyse), printers, scanners, smartboards, and mobile devices (iOS/Android).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose issues using logs and recognize root-cause trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high degree of professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while handling confidential information.
- Ability to communicate for extended periods by phone

Codeworks, LLC discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $20 and $23. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable.
