We are presently seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Eastview community located in Gillette, Wyoming, who will perform general grounds and lawn maintenance, as well as basic repairs to homes owned by the community, for 40 hours per week.
As a successful Maintenance Technician, you will:
<ul>
<li>Perform maintenance to ensure homes and community areas are in proper condition.</li>
<li>Execute assigned work orders and report status to the Community Manager timely and efficiently.</li>
<li>Promote goodwill by handling all contacts with residents, prospective residents, visitors and other employees in a spirit of courtesy, cooperation and attentiveness.</li>
<li>Use established procedures to identify deficiencies and take immediate action with community manager approval.</li>
<li>Ensure community grounds are appropriately manicured.  Regularly treat for weeds, rake leaves, plant flowers/shrubs, spread mulch/woodchips/stones, trim shrubs and hedges, cut down and remove tree limbs as needed, and perform other lawn care services as necessary.</li>
<li>Remove and dispose of garbage on community grounds, including common areas, main entrance and from resident’s sites as needed to maintain community appearance.</li>
<li>Perform snow removal using a snow blower, hand shovel or a plow truck, as applicable.</li>
<li>Advise Community Manager or Maintenance Supervisor of residents who do not properly dispose of their excess garbage or have large/bulk items that may require pickup arrangements. </li>
<li>Perform regular inventories of maintenance and grounds equipment and supplies to advise Community Manager of equipment and supply needs.</li>
<li>Maintain order and appearance of garage and storage areas.</li>
<li>Maintain all maintenance and grounds equipment to keep it clean and cared for.</li>
<li>Comply with national, state and local health and safety laws to reduce accident occurrences and to protect residents, the company, team members and vendors.</li>
<li>Perform seasonal pre-maintenance service on a timely basis.</li>
<li>Remain available for “on call” duties as needed.</li>
<li>Participate in the refurbishing of Community Owned homes.</li>
<li>Perform repairs and maintain the community water and sewer lines.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>

We are hiring Seasonal Farm Hands to help us with our sixth Summer season at the Tree House Orchard &amp; Farm Fermentory. Our seasonal Farm Hands will receive an immersive experience in the running of a small, community-focused Farm &amp; Orchard, working closely with our Farm Manager and the rest of the team, including but not limited to:

Cultivate and nourish the property to be able to provide produce and ingredients for our products as well as assist in our Orchard to bear appreciable and beautiful terroir-filled fruit for our wild and mixed fermentation beer and cider program.

Tasks include all aspects of produce farming greenhouse seeding, seedling care, transplanting, irrigation, weeding, pruning, pest management, harvesting, washing, processing, and anything and everything that contributes to a positive, fruitful outcome for the Farm and Orchard.

The ideal candidate is a scrappy, hard worker who embraces the rewarding, albeit physically challenging, work that comes with farming and who works well both on a team and on their own and those who. But we also value intent, hard work, a sense of humor, and good communication skills. Preference is given to people who have prior experience in farming, gardening, or landscaping. This is an exciting opportunity for Ag students, budding arborists and those looking to get their hands dirty in the farming industry.
About the gig:
We see this as being an enriching opportunity for the right individual as farming is physically demanding, happens in all kinds of weather, during very early, long hours and can be tedious and repetitive yet exceptionally rewarding. You’ll be working both indoors and out on an ongoing list of projects and tasks as assigned by our Farm Manager. This is a five days a week, Monday-Friday schedule with flexible, long shifts that include early mornings.
