The prospective candidates will be working in both our Children's Outpatient Program and our Wraparound Program, providing individual and family therapy, conducting mental health assessments, Wraparound eligibilities, case management, and clinical consultations.

Primary responsibility of this class is to provide assessment and treatment services; crisis intervention, and treatment services, including intensive services, to individuals and their families with complex needs and diagnoses and/or to develop and implement specific services in the community.

Primary responsibility of this class is to provide assessment and treatment services with oversight and support provided by a supervisor. Individuals and families served will generally have less complex needs and diagnoses as compared to a Mental Health Therapist 2 and Mental Health Therapist 3.

Typical Duties - Duties include, but are not limited to the following

<li>Provides Mental Health Assessments and Child &amp; Adolescent Needs &amp; Strengths (CANS) screenings for children entering protective custody. Provides annual CANS screenings for children in protective custody.</li>
<li>Provides individual, family and group therapy services. Completes intake mental health assessments, including screening for alcohol and drug issues. Completes and updates an individual service plan. Obtains and maintains competence in all screening and assessment tools required by the county. Provides case management and outreach services to clients. Assists clients and families with developing skills to access community supports/resources and to advocate for themselves. Assists with making referrals for services.</li>
<li>Provides level of care determinations and eligibility reviews for youth being referred to the Wraparound Program. Presents cases at the System of Care Review Committee, which include eligibility recommendations.</li>
<li>Participates in individual service plan development in collaboration with the treatment team and other community providers. Ensures the collaborative development, periodic review and revision of an individual service plan. Provides service coordination to assist families in accessing formal and informal supports and services; facilitating communication between the family, natural supports, community resources, and involved child-serving providers and agencies; participates in team meetings at which strengths and needs are identified and safety planning occurs; and provides for continuity of care by creating linkages to, and managing transitions between levels of care, and transitions of older youth to the adult service system.</li>
<li>Completes required documentation and documents services to meet contract, administrative rule, and billing requirements and maintains acceptable level of productivity for these requirements. Expectation is that employee will strive for 60% of work hours on average to be billable hours with a minimum of 50% billable hours on average each month.</li>
<li>Provides consultation, training, &amp; orientation regarding mental health and co-occurring disorders treatment to team members, student interns, and other professionals.</li>
<li>Develops a proactive safety/crisis plan; ensures intervention to meet safety needs of children.</li>
<li>Attends treatment reviews and discharge planning staffings at hospitals, residential centers and day treatment programs to develop discharge/transition plans for the return of the child to the community.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.</li>
</ul>
Response Level 2: In the event of an emergency, employee makes a reasonable effort to report to work. Employee may be required to perform duties outside of their regularly assigned duties. Employee may be requested to work an extended or flexible schedule. Staff at this response level must complete Incident Command System 100 and 700 on-line or in-person training.
Requirements for the Position
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
<li>Possession of a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy or a behavioral science field, or possession of a bachelor's degree in Nursing and licensed by the State of Oregon, or possession of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and licensed by the State of Oregon; OR second year graduate students waivered as QMHP's by the Oregon Health Authority.</li>
<li>Mental Health Therapist 2 Only: In addition to the educational requirements above, the Mental Health Therapist 2 must have at least one year of full-time, post-Master's degree experience in the behavioral health field.</li>
PREFERENCES Preference will be awarded to candidates who are LCSW, CSWA or eligible for LCSW. Qualified candidates will be eligible for licensure supervision if hired.
AUTO-PROMOTE AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF CLASSIFICATION Individuals hired as a Mental Health Specialist 1 will auto-promote, as noted in Article 4 in the Marion County personnel rules, to the classification of Mental Health Specialist 2 upon satisfactorily completing one-year, post master's degree, of service as a Mental Health Specialist 1. (One-year of work experience is equal to 2080 hours).
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Coordinate on-site screenings at various settings, including Oregon State Hospital (OSH), Acute Psychiatric Units, and other APD- and MH-licensed treatment programs. Consult with Supervisor on final decisions.</li>
<li>Coordinate admissions with Providence Benedictine Nursing Center (PBNC) staff and referring entity.</li>
<li>Determine treatment needs, diagnose, and develop: Comprehensive Mental Health Assessments, Individualized Service Plans, Behavioral Support Plans, and Crisis Plans, with the goal of transitioning individuals to lower level of care. Update as necessary, with annual required according to Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs).</li>
<li>Meet with individuals on a weekly basis to provide therapy; may also provide case management, group therapy, and/or skills training as determined by the Individualized Service Plan. Provide crisis stabilization when necessary.</li>
<li>Oversee and coordinate daily functioning and activity programs with residents on the unit including outings with Qualified Mental Health Associates (QMHA) and PBNC staff. Facilitate daily huddles with QMHAs and Nursing Staff to identify priorities.</li>
<li>Coordinate and facilitate weekly IDT (Inter-Disciplinary Team) meetings to review treatment progress of residents, as required by OARs. All residents have to be reviewed monthly. Complete Transition Tool quarterly for each resident. Record notes for dissemination for all participants.</li>
<li>Facilitate Learning Circles (MH training for PBNC staff) with Supervisor, QMHAs, and/or Older Adult Behavioral Health Coordinator. Frequency will be determined by needs of unit, at minimum quarterly. Attend Focus Meetings (facilitated by PBNC) as necessary.</li>
<li>Determine, with consultation with Supervisor and Prescriber (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatrist), appropriateness of continued enrollment in ECS.</li>
<li>Coordinate discharge planning with NorthWest Seniors and Disability Services (NWSDS) Case Manager (CM) and Providence Benedictine Nursing Care staff. Identify MH needs to be addressed at future placements; relay MH, Neurocognitive, and Physical Health needs to NWSDS CM. (Physical Health and Neurocognitive needs will be identified by PBNC and other appropriate entities.)</li>
<li>Assist in screening residents for discharge. Explore placement options identified by NWSDS CM and review with treatment team, resident, and legal representative.</li>
<li>For all of the above, complete clinical documentation professionally and accurately in a timely manner as directed by Marion County HHS policy. Submit paperwork to OHA/HSD or other entities as required. Maintain accurate and comprehensive MH charts. If necessary, transports charts following HIPAA regulations to support staff at Marion County ABH.</li>
<li>Submit Monthly Census to OHA/DHS.</li>
</ul>
Enhanced Care Outreach Services
<ul>

They have an outdoor area that can be used for various purposes, including working with residents. There may be various climatic changes due to the community outreach aspect of ECOS.

Mental Health Therapist 2 (Underfill) - Enhanced Care Services - Relocation Offered

The Psychiatric Crisis Center has been working to expand by offering bilingual/bicultural services at our Woodburn office. The Mental Health Specialist in this position will provide crisis assessments to individuals in need as well as case management, resource identification, and referral options. This position will require a motivated individual to learn about the available community services to provide mental health well-being. The individual in this position will possess a desire to be creative in matching individuals to available services while educating the community about the various services we provide at the Crisis Center. This position provides services to monolingual Spanish-speaking individuals; therefore, fluent bilingual Spanish/English skills are required.

Typical Duties - Duties include, but are not limited to the following
Counseling to Crisis Clients: Provide counseling by telephone or in-person to individuals and/or their families or concerned others. Intervene with both children and adults. Presenting problems covering the full range of personal needs and include thoughts/plans or violence toward others, and major psychiatric illness. Because of the wide spectrum of presenting problems, it is necessary to have a comprehensive knowledge of psychopathology and to be able to draw upon a wide range of therapeutic strategies in counseling. This work is done at two different locations each day (at the Salem Hospital Emergency Dept. and at PCC), so driving is required.
Assessment of Mental Status: Perform independent assessment of mental status, diagnosis, level of functioning, dangerousness, and specific needs for service. Screen individual for psychiatric hospitalization.
Planning Development: Develop plan with client/family to address immediate needs and plans to obtain services. If client is unwilling to seek services, make decisions regarding involuntary commitment based on dangerousness and ability to care for self.
Community Coordination: Maintain current knowledge of, and contact with, community agencies in order to make referrals appropriately. See that clients gain access to the services they need, and do follow-up work as needed, to make certain that client's needs are being met.

<li>Conduct community risk assessments to determine individuals' risk, eligibility and appropriateness for services, and develop conditional release plans to mitigate risk for individuals in the Oregon State Hospital, jail, courts, and other community agencies. </li>
<li>Prepare risk assessments and other documentation necessary for community release and placement. </li>

About the Team
Our Child and Family Team provides a wide range of behavioral health services from brief counseling to comprehensive wrap-around supports. Our clinicians specialize in trauma-informed and trauma-focused practices, early childhood intervention, intervention with older children and adolescents, and family intervention. We provide a comprehensive array of skill development services designed to enable children and adolescents to thrive in their community.

<li>Pay Range is $60,000 to $77,649 (Unlicensed - Eligible for up to $18,200 in incentive with the average being $7,000) and $72,310 to 93,579 (Licensed - Eligible for up to $22,000 in incentive with the average being $8,500) depending on experience. </li>
<li>Licensed Clinicians are eligible for a $10,000 hiring bonus, which requires a two-year employment commitment.</li>

CLINICIAN I 
Responsibilities

<li>Provide behavioral health services using evidenced-based practices including Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competency (ARC) and Trauma-Focused CBT.</li>
<li>Evaluate crisis situations promptly and provide necessary services to effectively resolve crises; conduct clinical evaluations to determine risk and appropriate level of care.</li>
<li>Participate in weekly individual and group supervision.</li>
<li>Complete documentation and ongoing training requirements in a timely manner.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications 
<ul>
<li>You have a master or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, or another relevant field. AKBH can assist with supporting licensure on site for unlicensed clinicians.</li>
<li>Pay range is $60,000 – $77,649 depending on experience. </li>
<li>This position is eligible for annual incentive opportunities up to 5% of your salary.</li>
<li>AKBH consistently provides both individual and group clinical licensure supervision for our behavioral health providers who are working towards their post-master's and post-doctoral clinical licenses. The most common licenses for therapists in Alaska are Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Both require 100 hours of clinical supervision. Market rates for licensure clinical supervision are $150-$200 an hour. At 100 hours, that is a $15,000 to $20,000 value – and our staff receive it as a free benefit.</li>

CLINICIAN II

Are you a BC-ABA, a Licensed Behavior Specialist seeking to complete your fieldwork and finally reach the end goal of being a Board Certified Behavior Analyst? Access Services is seeking to contract with Behavior Consultants in ABA Services (Licensed Behavior Specialists/BC-ABA Consultants) to serve children and families in their homes, school, and/or community in Montgomery County. Work Locations: Abington, PA, and the surrounding Montgomery County region.
Schedule: Each contractor will develop their own schedule according to the client's needs.

Requirements
Essential Responsibilities of Behavior Consultant in ABA Services (Licensed Behavior Specialist/BC-ABA):

<li>Engage children, youth, and young adults and their families/care providers to support thorough assessment of medical need for Intensive Behavioral Health Services.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Prepare assessments that identify target behaviors and replacement behaviors we well as establish criteria for discharge.</li>

<ul>
<li>Develop ITPs that map the replacement of behaviors of concern, establish timelines and clear interventions, and identify individuals responsible for implementation.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Consult with families/care providers on behavior presentation, skill acquisition, concerns, and successes.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Monitor progress in each individual being served at least weekly.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Supervise Behavioral Health Technicians as needed.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Address discharge planning with individuals being served and families/care providers.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Develop robust discharge plans to support individuals being served and families/care providers to maintain and solidify behavioral changes.</li>
</ul>

<li>Maintain case notes in the electronic health record.</li>
