SUMMARY:&nbsp;
Cobra and EVMS Expert shall provide NNSA Capital Projects (NCP) Portfolio Management Office support services for work being performed at SRNS. The primary focus of these support efforts will be Cobra and EVMS expertise in support of NCP 413.3B projects. These support efforts will include establishing consistent compliant Cobra and EVMS reporting systems for the NCP PMO and individual projects and supporting developing effective processes and procedures as required. Providing Cobra and EVMS support to the project teams will be provided as requested.

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is looking for you to join the Product Support Team as a Senior Principal Logistics Engineer for the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) in Huntsville, AL. IBCS, which integrates disparate sensors and effectors, is the centerpiece of the US Army's modernization of air and missile defense. 
As a Logistics Engineer you will be responsible for developing and implementing logistics strategies to support IBCS throughout the program's lifecycle and ensure optimal readiness, maintenance tracking and analysis, and supply chain efficiency for critical defense assets. 
Qualified Logistics Engineer will have experience with some of the following responsibilities:
* Managing and maintaining the day-to-day interfaces and communications between the assigned Program Management Office (PMO), Test Execution, Mission Assurance (MA), Supply Chain (SCM), Engineering, and Shipping. 
* Works collaboratively to establish a baseline and determine sparing and support equipment requirements. 
* Utilization of COLTS and SAP Materials management and other inventory management systems. 
* Maintain internal stock of consumable material and parts. 
* Develop a plan for periodic review of assets activity. 
* Devise and implement methods and procedures for tracking assets. 
* Develop, review, analyze, and implement processes surrounding receiving, storing, kitting, and deploying materials. 
* Regularly prepare presentation content and brief stakeholders on material procurement and deployment status.
Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal Logistics Engineer:
* Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience or 7 years with MS or 4 years with PhD. 
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills. 
* Ability to communicate effectively to team members both verbally and in writing. 
* Experience MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Project, and Power Point. 
* Experience in one or more of the following: Asset Tracking, Calibration, Quality Assurance, Material Management, Performing Audits. 
* U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Active DoD security clearance 
* Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Salary Range: $95,400 - $143,200 
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. 
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
