Job Summary
Performs a variety of general and specific laboratory duties in each laboratory section including but not limited to Phlebotomy, Urinalysis, Hematology, Chemistry, Special Chemistry, Blood Bank, Serology, and Microbiology. Reviews and monitors the performance of quality control, preventive maintenance and laboratory reports in area assigned. Working Conditions

RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Answer inquiries regarding test results, methodology, test specificity, test sensitivity, and specific factors that influence test results. Interpret results and suggest follow-up test selection or procedures</li>

Position Summary: Meade District Hospital is seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our lab department. The MLT is responsible for collecting specimens and performing a wide range of medical laboratory tests and analyses in areas such as clinical chemistry, serology, hematology, urinalysis, bacteriology, and blood banking to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
Responsibilities:
