MLT Collects, prepares, and analyzes blood, urine, and other body fluid specimens following standard protocols.

Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as microscopes, centrifuges, and analyzers.

Perform routine and specialized tests in areas such as hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology.

Record, evaluate, and verify test results for accuracy before reporting to physicians or electronic systems.

Ensure compliance with laboratory quality control, safety procedures, and regulatory standards (e.g., CLIA, OSHA).

Medical Lab Technician maintains accurate logs, records, and documentation in accordance with HIPAA and institutional guidelines.

Calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.

Participate in proficiency testing and continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Collaborate with pathologists, medical technologists, nurses, and physicians to support patient care.

Assist in inventory management by ordering and organizing lab supplies as needed.
