Job Description
Now Hiring - USPS CDS Rural Mail Carrier
TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, the nation’s leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, with offices in 20&nbsp;states, is currently seeking applicants to deliver mail on a CDS mail route recently solicited and posted by the USPS in the Silverhill, Alabama area.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Alabama driver's license; able to lift 70 lbs., able to work in all types of weather conditions and must reside in the area.
Duties include but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 550&nbsp;active boxes</li>
<li>Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle.</li>
<li>Delivering mail along a 26.5-mile assigned line-of-travel.</li>
<li>Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.</li>
<li>Other administrative duties are required.</li>
</ul>
Minimum Vehicle and Insurance Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Applicant MUST furnish vehicle, which meets postal regulations, and meet postal driving requirements.</li>
<li>One (1) Dependable (Mini-Van or Equivalent) vehicle or the equivalent that provides&nbsp;150&nbsp;cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels.</li>
<li>$100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for contract vehicle</li>
<li>The applicant is responsible for all the vehicle maintenance, fuel and insurance cost.</li>
</ul>
Employment Details: 5/24/2025 - training may begin a week prior

<li>Hours: Day Shift – 7:30am – 2:40pm*</li>
<li>Pay: $25.92*hour PLUS&nbsp;vehicle reimbursement
<ul>

<li>**Straight time, Health &amp; Welfare, Holiday and Vehicle Reimbursement paid out. Benefits paid as cash equivalency up to the maximum of 40 hours per week per the DoL Wage Determination under the Service Contract Act. </li>
