The Office of Civil Rights &amp; Title IX Compliance oversees the College’s compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements related to equal opportunity and non-discrimination, including but not limited to ADA/504, Title IX, Title VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), and Illinois Preventing Sexual Violence in Higher Education Act. The Office also has the responsibility to ensure compliance with the Stop Hazing Act. The Office reports to the Interim VP of Student Development. This position would supervise the Civil Rights Program Coordinator.
 
The Deputy Director/Interim Director assists with the implementation of a college-wide strategic plan focused on delivering education, training, and prevention programming and centralizing reporting processes, ensuring timely, fair, and appropriate responses to all reports. As a critical contributor to the college’s efforts to achieve inclusive excellence, the Deputy Director/Interim Director serves as a resource for the college community on the issues addressed and support provided through the Office of Civil Rights &amp; Title IX Compliance.
 
Essential Duties
<ul>
<li>
Assist with the implementation of a college-wide strategic plan to ensure compliance with all state and federal civil rights and equal opportunity laws and regulations,including the implementation, and monitoring of appropriate policies, procedures, and resolution procedures. 
</li>
<li>
Coordinate the development and delivery of college-wide education, training, and
</li>
</ul>
prevention programming related to antidiscrimination and hazing laws and policies. 
<ul>
<li>
Create and disseminate educational materials, including brochures, posters, and web-based materials that inform members of the community (students, faculty, and staff) of their rights, responsibilities and available support resources.
</li>
</ul>

<li>
 Be an active and engaged member of the campus community who regularly participates in the life of the College and builds the relationships necessary with members of the campus community to instill a sense of trust, respect, and professionalism for the position. 
</li>
<li>
Ensure prompt, effective, and equitable intake and resolution of all complaints of bias, discrimination, harassment, and hazing, including responding to reports made through online platforms. This includes:

Hiring and overseeing investigators and hearing officers as needed;
</li>
<li>
Providing supportive measures to parties; and
</li>
<li>
Providing all required notices and maintaining all required documentation.

 Implement a comprehensive, robust, and trauma-informed approach to supporting individuals impacted by discrimination, harassment, and/or retaliation.

Coordinate with internal and external entities to provide services and support to those reporting incidents and to those responding to allegations of policy violations. Provide a connection point for those seeking services. 
</li>
<li>
 Stay abreast of current and emerging regulatory obligations, identify areas of institutional risk, and recommend plans of action for ensuring college rules and standard operating procedures are in compliance with federal laws and regulations. 
</li>
<li>
Develop proactive initiatives to meet the changing legal and regulatory environment, as well as the evolving needs of the campus; 
</li>
<li>
Assist campus Clery Officer with Clery Act reporting and compliance; 
</li>
<li>
Maintain a high level of cultural competence, overall responsiveness, attention to detail, and the ability to exercise excellent and unbiased judgment and reasoning;

POSITION SUMMARY: The Detective Secretary is directly accountable to the Lieutenant of Detectives. The Detective Secretary performs a very wide variety of duties mostly in support of Detective or Criminal Investigation Division functions. The person assigned to this position is exposed to a considerable amount of confidential and privileged information and, as such, must be a very trustworthy individual. For this principal reason, the Detective Secretary must be able to acquire and maintain the confidence and level of trust mandated by the Lieutenant and Detectives whom they assist on a daily basis. Because the Criminal Investigation Division relies so heavily upon the person assigned to this position for the division’s overall effectiveness, the Detective Secretary must possess and continue to demonstrate high levels of expertise and competency in the performance of this particular job function. 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Collect mail and messages that are generated overnight and distribute to the appropriate persons.</li>
<li>Route mail and other correspondence or information to its intended recipient.</li>
<li>Answer telephone calls and take messages for the detective supervisor and detectives.</li>
<li>Assist callers in determining which detective is assigned and working on their case.</li>
<li>Greet and direct visitors in the upstairs lobby.</li>
<li>Review Reports and Supplements: i.e. check spelling, check names section for people in report, check property section for any stolen, seized, lost, found or damaged property, check vehicle section for complainant vehicle, suspect vehicle, stolen vehicle or damaged vehicles and check narrative to make sure that all information is included and words are spelled and punctuated correctly.</li>
<li>Address Geo-Verification: review all addresses to ensure they are verified and correct in the computer system. An address will not verify to a location if it is not correctly entered.</li>
<li>Name Geo-Verification: review all person names entered to ensure they are correctly spelled in the computer system and attach all alias name records to the correct name. This ensures that there are not multiple entries for the same person with different spellings.</li>
<li>Enter property and/or update information on case reports for Detectives as needed.</li>
<li>Scan all attachments submitted and attach items to appropriate computerized case.</li>
<li>Verify all jail cards generated from custodial arrests.</li>
<li>Assist Detectives with scanning needs.</li>
<li>Notarize statements and other paperwork for the Detective Division.</li>
<li>Retrieve and provide reports and other archived information to requesting detectives.</li>
<li>Type witness and suspect statements as requested by investigative personnel.</li>
<li>Enter information into the various computer data bases as assigned.</li>
<li>Assist outside criminal justice agencies as appropriate.</li>
<li>Conduct mail run to City Hall when needed as a back-up.</li>

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities
The Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of the Knox College Men’s Soccer Program including but not limited to: executing a successful recruiting and retention plan; integrating the program into the campus community; scheduling, planning, and supervising practices and contests; team travel; managing the program operating budget; developing cultural competence within the men’s soccer program; fully supporting Knox College and Prairie Fire athletics department diversity and inclusion initiatives; fundraising; administering all aspects of the program ensuring compliance with departmental, institutional, Midwest Conference (MWC), and NCAA rules and regulations; participating in alumni and booster engagement, including promotion of program on social media platforms; and additional coaching and administrative duties as assigned. The Head Coach must develop a competitive program within the MWC with the goal of postseason participation. The Head Coach must also provide support and encouragement and ensure the safety and well-being of the student-athletes. 
 
This position will supervise one full-time, benefits eligible, at-will assistant coach, as well as student manager(s), student worker(s), and volunteer assistant coach(es) as needed. Additional duties will be determined, in part, by the experiences and strengths of the successful candidate and may include assisting with game operations and/or teaching a sports studies course.

Job Summary: The Budget Manager/Director will play a pivotal role in overseeing the budgetary processes for Knox College, ensuring the effective allocation and management of financial resources. 
Under the direction of the Vice President for Finance, the Manager/Director is responsible for development and stewardship of the college’s operating and capital budgets and preparing detailed strategic financial analyses and scenario modeling, capital planning and expenditures analyses, employee headcount control stewardship and reporting, and other research and analyses as needed.

Administrative Assistant in Academic Affairs
Knox College invites applications for an Administrative Assistant to serve as support for academic departments in the social sciences and the humanities. This position is a 30-hour a week, 12-month position. Reporting to the Provost and Dean of the College and under the supervision of the Executive Assistant to the Dean of the College, the Administrative Assistant supports the academic program at Knox and works closely with faculty, staff, and students in many different ways. The Administrative Assistant is based in George Davis Hall, overseeing daily operations in the building, providing support to departments and programs in that building and related faculty in adjacent academic buildings. 
Assistants provide administrative support for faculty in their respective buildings, providing information and resources in order to support teaching and learning, complete a wide variety of departmental management tasks including issues of budget, facilitate communication with the Office of the Dean of the College, and ensure broad oversight of offices and facilities. 
 
Regular duties include, but are not limited to:
 
Assisting academic departments in organization of meetings, workshops, conferences, and educational programs including work with catering, facilities services, communications and resources.
 
Maintaining office supplies and materials. Order letterhead, envelopes, business cards and name badges for all departments housed in area.
 
Assisting departments and faculty with purchasing.
 
Supporting academic departmental searches including management of Interfolio files. 
 
Assisting with arrangements for campus visitors including lodging, airline, group meals, and other accommodations.
 
Monitoring, maintaining, ordering supplies, install parts, stock paper, and troubleshoot copiers. Assist faculty with Xerox, PDFs, and other copier processes. 
 
Collect and deliver mail as appropriate.
 
Providing oversight of building spaces, including submitting work order requests and communicating with facilities and campus safety regarding maintenance and safety issues.
 
Serve as a source of information and provide assistance to faculty and departments regarding campus policies, communication and work flows, Business Office procedures, and other campus offices that the educational program.
 
Other duties as assigned to support the educational program in areas of responsibility. 
 
Administrative assistants generally do not have supervisory responsibilities but may provide supervision of student workers in the Dean’s Office or academic departments.
 
Minimum Job Qualifications 
 
Formal Education: A minimum of high school degree (college degree preferred) with clerical (software and business machines) experience and additional training. 
 
Desired Previous Experience: Secretarial/clerical with event planning experience. 
 
Skills and Abilities: 
 
Google Suite programs and MS Office suite are expected or ability to learn. Additional knowledge of design software such Adobe Acrobat Pro, InDesign, Canva, etc. is desirable.
 
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide a welcoming, professional environment are required. 
 
Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences and perspectives. 
 
Ability to navigate multiple projects and timelines among a number of departments and faculty.

Job Description: Tennessee Corrections Institute is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Secretary to provide clerical and administrative support. This position manages documents, schedules meetings, handles correspondence and maintains records. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:

<li>Receive, organize, print, and collate paperwork for monthly and quarterly Board of Control (BOC) meetings, including jail inspection reports, plan of action reports, accreditation reports, and employment waiver reports.</li>

<li>Schedule all BOC meetings monthly and quarterly as appropriate, ensuring meeting dates are confirmed at least three months in advance and entered into the MS Outlook Calendar and MS Teams.</li>
<li>Secure meeting locations for all scheduled BOC meetings no later than 60 days prior to each meeting date, and ensure the meeting rooms are properly set up with all necessary materials and equipment.</li>
<li>Advertise all BOC meetings to the public by submitting meeting details to the webmaster at least 30 days in advance, but no later than 15 days in advance of the meeting.</li>
<li>Prepare all necessary paperwork for in-person BOC meetings, including collecting quarterly reports from all Executive Leadership Team members, reviewing them for spelling, formatting, and grammatical errors, and organizing the documents in color-coded packets for ease of review.</li>
<li>Ensure all meeting requests and invitations are sent out using the MS Outlook Calendar Function and MS Teams, with notifications sent at least 30 days in advance for regular meetings and 7 days in advance for special or emergency meetings.</li>
