Knox College invites applications for the full time, 12-month position of Assistant or Associate Director of Student Financial Services. As the successful candidate, you will provide a full range of financial aid and student account counseling services for current and prospective students and their families; analyze and verify financial aid applications; award financial aid based on federal, state, and institutional policies; and participate in outreach activities both on- and off-campus. You will also play a key role in utilizing new technologies and leading initiatives to help us improve the delivery of financial aid and related services. This position is located in Galesburg, IL.

Essential Functions:
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

<li>Verify financial aid applications using federal tax transcripts, verifications forms, etc.</li>
<li>Determine eligibility for Parent PLUS loans</li>
<li>Identify, determine, and approve special circumstances warranting professional judgment modifications</li>
<li>Review enrollment after add/drop period to determine student aid eligibility</li>
<li>Review and process student aid adjustment requests such as part-time adjustments, additional loan requests, housing status changes, etc.</li>
<li>Work with students regarding their student accounts and payment plans</li>
<li>Review reports to ensure compliance with federal regulations such as over awards, Pell LEU issues, loan limit issues, CFLAGS, etc.</li>
<li>Award financial aid to study abroad students based on revised cost of attendance information; and determine eligibility for alternative loans.</li>
<li>Maintain current knowledge of federal/state regulations and institutional policy. </li>
<li>Attend financial aid workshops, training sessions, and conferences</li>
<li>Assist with development and maintenance of financial aid policy and procedures manual</li>
<li>Coordinate with other offices on campus such as Business Office, Registrar, Admissions, etc.</li>

Responsibilities
The Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of the Knox College Men’s Basketball Program including but not limited to: executing a successful recruiting and retention plan; integrating the program into the campus community; scheduling, planning, and supervising practices and contests; team travel; managing the program operating budget; developing cultural competence within the men’s basketball program; fully supporting Knox College and Prairie Fire athletics department diversity and inclusion initiatives; fundraising; administering all aspects of the program ensuring compliance with departmental, institutional, Midwest Conference (MWC), and NCAA rules and regulations; participating in alumni and booster engagement, including promotion of program on social media platforms; and additional coaching and administrative duties as assigned. The Head Coach must develop a competitive program within the MWC with the goal of postseason participation. The Head Coach must also provide support and encouragement and ensure the safety and well-being of the student-athletes. 

This position will supervise at-will assistant coach(es), as well as student manager(s), student worker(s), and volunteer assistant coach(es) as needed. Additional duties will be determined, in part, by the experiences and strengths of the successful candidate and may include assisting department operations and/ or teaching a sports studies course. 

Required Qualifications:

<h3>Job Description</h3>
Knox College invites applications for the full-time, 12-month, benefited position of Assistant Director of Admissions Technology. The Assistant Director of Admissions Technology will serve as a co-administrator of Knox College’s Slate CRM instance, which is used in the recruitment and admission of prospective students. In this capacity, this position will also interface with additional campus systems and engage with the respective departments in sharing data between these systems. The Assistant Director will serve as a liaison to third-party vendors and campus-wide constituents to share, analyze, and report on relevant admissions data. Finally, the Assistant Director will maintain data access to, troubleshoot issues with, and provide ongoing training for, faculty, staff, and student employees. This position reports directly to the Director of Admissions Operations and will be a valuable member of the Admissions Operations team within the Office of Admissions.
Essential Functions: 
The Assistant Director will act as the data steward for admission data, ensuring the quality and security of data:
<ol>
<li>Collects, maintains, and audits data fields, prompts, exports, and filters for multiple datasets (i.e. prospects, organization, organization contacts, etc.).</li>
<li>Defines and maps source formats and uploads data into Slate CRM.</li>
<li>Creates and runs daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual audits.</li>
</ol>
The Assistant Director will collaborate to identify and satisfy data and reporting needs of the Admissions Office, along with other collaborative offices on campus:
<ol>
<li>Queries data and creates reports to help facilitate office-wide recruitment and college-wide retention goals often in collaboration with or at the request of colleagues.</li>
<li>Maintains a query template library for counselors.</li>
<li>Promptly responds to staff requests for troubleshooting and data clean-up.</li>
<li>Creates and maintains forms and form templates used for data collection and event registrations.</li>
<li>Builds and maintains forms and portals to share data across campus and with external constituents.</li>
<li>Maintains and enhances all application sources for admissions. </li>
<li>Builds and maintains application review forms and works with the director to ensure annual updates to the application review process in Slate.</li>
</ol>
Provides Slate training for new employees and ongoing training and updates for all staff and manages all staff user permissions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
<ul>
<li>Ability to access, manage, and analyze data using different databases and file formats</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience with a CRM – Slate preferred</li>
<li>Demonstrated analytical thinking and excellent customer service and systems aptitude</li>
<li>A high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent time management skills</li>
<li>Ability to work successfully as part of a team in a fast-paced office environment</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple and changing priorities</li>
<li>Experience and knowledge of SQL is preferred</li>

Minimum Education Required: 
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in a technology-related field

At least two years of related experience and/or training in the use of information systems, database tools, and technologies, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience with Slate or other college admission CRMs is extremely helpful.

Knox College invites applications for the position of Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach. This is a part-time, seasonal, non-benefits eligible position reporting to the Head Men’s Basketball Coach. The anticipated start date is October 1st, 2023. The successful candidate will have a focus on supporting student-athlete success and developing a competitive NCAA Division III program.

Essential Duties:

The Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach is responsible for assisting the head coach in all aspects of the Knox College Men’s Basketball program including but not limited to; executing a successful recruiting and retention plan as assigned; integrating the program into the campus community; scheduling, planning, and supervising practices and contests as assigned; assist with the management of the program’s operating budget; assist with administering all aspects of the programs ensuring compliance with departmental, institutional, Midwest Conference (MWC) and NCAA rules and regulations; alumni and booster engagement; assist with the programs social media activity as assigned; assist with equipment purchasing, distribution and maintenance as needed; attend all required department meetings, complete all administrative assignments, and attend all required functions as designated by the Head Coach, Athletics Department and/or the Director of Athletics; additional coaching and administrative duties as assigned. Must pass the NCAA rules compliance test and comply with all NCAA rules and regulations. Will work with the Director of Athletics and the Athletic Department Administration to ensure that all athletes are academically eligible, medically cleared and properly insured. Must provide support and encouragement and ensure the safety and well-being of the student-athletes within the NCAA Division III philosophy. Collegial respect and professionalism are expected and required. 

Education and Experience

Required Qualifications:

Playing or professional coaching experience at the collegiate level
