The Housekeeper's duties involve general cleaning of all assigned campus areas. Provide community outreach as needed. Community includes the courthouse, the annex, the jail, the mission or Simonka House, or any community location where a client may be found. Participates in diversion program meetings weekly. Provides case reviews of BRES clients. Discusses potential clients and services. Provides weekly mental health groups to participants of Lotus House. Other Job Duties Attends monthly PCC team meetings. Performs other job duties as assigned by the supervisor. <li>Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers and hospitals &nbsp;</li>
<li>Work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs and aides to deliver excellent patient care</li>
<li>Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake</li>
<li>Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises</li>
<li>Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes</li>
<li>Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment</li>
</ul>
A few must-haves for Certified Nursing Assistants:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification in Minnesota</li>
<li>Must be 18 years of age or older</li>
<li>Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations</li>
<li>Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li>
