Job Description: General Statement of Duties: The senior accountant performs a variety of activities to support the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Accounting, Reporting, Treasury and Payroll systems. Reconciles and manages ISAs with DCAM and the Massachusetts Comptroller's Office. Reconciles and makes recommendations on funding held in state appropriations, cash flow strategies and maintains Banner fund reconciliations. Performs bank reconciliations and complex fund analysis. Will conduct reconciliations, procedural compliance research and communications with college staff and administration. The incumbent will ensure the timely and accurate reporting of cash activities in accordance with policies and procedures; maintain various accounting records and reporting schedules and conduct reconciliations to ensure compliance. Works with administration to review and support process improvements and automation.
