 Event Logistics: 
<ul>
<li>Researches venues, formats, and technologies that support immersive storytelling and create a sense of place and purpose, conducting site visits when necessary. </li>
<li>Manages and directs external contractors and vendors involved in event production, negotiating prices, terms, and conditions of contracts and service agreements. </li>
<li>Participates in the physical setup, transport, and disassembly of event materials, ensuring brand and story consistency in visual and spatial design.</li>

 Event Execution: 
<ul>
<li>Reviews and finalizes all program content and supporting materials to ensure clarity and impact. </li>
<li>Prepares comprehensive event agendas and run-of-show documents that align program elements with audience experience goals. </li>
<li>Confirms staffing and speaker support, including training when needed to enhance storytelling moments. </li>
<li>Provides on-site support during events and serves as a key point of contact for program execution and production. </li>
<li>Conducts post-event evaluations, gathering both logistical feedback and insight into emotional resonance and audience engagement, identifying opportunities for continual improvement.</li>

<li>Collaborates with alumni and donor volunteers on committees engaged in initiatives on behalf of University Advancement. </li>

SUPERVISION EXERCISED None IMPACT ON PROGRAMS - SERVICES - OPERATIONS Decisions made in the planning and execution of University Advancement events can significantly influence the university's reputation and standing among donors, alumni, and external communities. Errors in judgment may have adverse effects on the university's future resources and overall integrity. WORK ENVIRONMENT This is a hybrid position. When in the office, it primarily entails a standard environment with moderate physical exertion, including lifting and moving moderately heavy event materials (minimum of 25 pounds), and sustained physical activity during events. Travel may be needed for events and is estimated at 10% for a standard fiscal year. Minimum Requirements Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in a related field such as business, hospitality business, communications, marketing, theater, or arts management; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in the planning and production of institutional and/or fundraising events; contractor and vendor contract negotiations, and developing event budget reports; experience in a customer-service environment; and experience in database, spreadsheet, word processing and presentation software; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Opportunity
Reporting to IRAP’s Executive Vice President, External Relationsand Chief of Staff, the Vice President (VP), Development will be anintegral member of the IRAP team, and involved in theorganization’s overall strategic development. They will oversee andmanage the organization’s fundraising strategy, development, andexecution, and will build key infrastructure and contacts tostrengthen and sustain its activities. In partnership with theExecutive Vice President, External Relations and Chief of Staff,the Development team, and other key stakeholders, the VP will be astrategic leader and frontline fundraiser, forging newrelationships to increase IRAP’s visibility, achieve ambitiousimpact, and secure long-term financial resources. They will lead,in partnership, the design and implementation of a comprehensive,clearly-articulated multi-year plan to maintain organizationalhealth in the years to come. The VP will hold a portfolio ofprincipal and major individual and institutional donors, and willbe responsible for personal fundraising performance alongside therest of the development team.&nbsp;
The VP, Development will have primary responsibility forestablishing and implementing the infrastructure needed to grow a$30M annual budget through the solicitation of grassroots tomajor/principal gifts, special events and virtual opportunities,and corporate and foundation support. They will expand anddiversify IRAP’s donor base/pipeline and work closely with otherteam members to secure funding for new initiatives. The VP, Development will directly supervise the highly strategicDevelopment Leadership Team, comprising the Director of IndividualPhilanthropy, Director of Institutional Philanthropy, and theDevelopment Operations team lead, in addition to overseeing andleading the nine Development team professionals. They will also bea member of the Senior Management Team, responsible for helping todevelop a strategic execution plan to achieve organizationalresults.
Responsibilities

<li>Provide strategic vision and direction to build a first-ratedevelopment program, in partnership with the Executive LeadershipTeam, Development team, and Board of Directors, includingindividual, corporate, and foundation fundraising, and support andensure stellar development operations.</li>
<li>Through a combination of donor, prospect, Board, and staffengagement; intentional pipeline building and authenticstewardship; and creative and innovative fundraising strategies,lead the organization-wide goal of deepening existing andprospective funder relationships, and expanding and diversifyingthe base of supporters and ambassadors.</li>
<li>Maintain a dynamic portfolio of high-net-worth individuals andmajor institutional funders.</li>
<li>Support the Board of Directors, including staffing theDevelopment Committee, as it undertakes greater fundraising andpipeline-building efforts.</li>
<li>Ensure dynamic processes in all phases of prospect management,donor qualification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, anddevelopment reporting.</li>
<li>Create and implement a plan for the diversification of fundingtypes, such as expanding our non-U.S. supporter base, competing formore multilateral funding opportunities, and/or acceleratinggrassroots giving.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ensure the mobilization of virtual and in-person fundraisingactivities, including by leading the biannual Audacious Communitycalls and other development cultivation and stewardshipopportunities.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Communicate regularly with the Executive Vice President,appropriate Executive Leadership Team members, and the SeniorDirector, Global Planning and Strategic Resourcing to understandpotential programmatic funding needs, then work with others on theDevelopment team to identify and pursue funding opportunities tomeet those needs.</li>
<li>With the support of the Development Operations team, provideregular analysis and reporting on the overall performance offundraising against goals and Annual Plan.</li>
<li>Actively manage the Development departmental budget, bringingrisks and opportunities to the attention of the EVP, ExternalRelations and Chief of Staff.</li>

Compensation

Vice President, Development

Manager Individual Gifts

Under the general direction of the Executive Director, the Director of Finance at Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) has oversight of the financial, risk management and information technology operations of the organization. In collaboration with the Executive Director, the Director of Finance is delegated a high degree of responsibility to recommend and implement fiscal policies and procedures in partnership with university colleagues to ensure that ASI operates appropriately within the financial policies of the California State University (CSU) Board of Trustees and the University, while sustaining sound business practices, and strengthening the financial health of ASI.
The Director of Finance will sit as a non-voting member and serve as an advisor to the ASI Student Board of Directors, which doubles as the Sacramento State Student Government. &nbsp;&nbsp;
The ASI Director of Finance serves as ASI administrator in charge in the absence of the Executive Director.&nbsp;
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Accounting

<li>Oversees the supervision and management of all aspects of the functional areas of the Accounting Services department, including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, cashiering, fixed asset management, internal controls, policy development and implementation, legal, and audit compliance as well as maintenance of the general ledger.</li>

Minimum Qualifications

Qualities of the next Director of Human Resources
The new Director of Human Resources will be an experienced professional who has demonstrated success in all aspects of human resources. MMFS is a close-knit community deeply dedicated to the work of the school. The Director must demonstrate a practice of collaboration, strategic thinking,&nbsp; problem-solving and decisiveness guided by compassion and understanding. In addition, the Director must have know-how and expertise in the recruitment, development and retention of an excellent and diverse staff. As the HR functions continue to grow and mature, a Director with a coach mindset to develop leaders in this work will be essential. The Director will have a successful history of building a warm and supportive culture.

Director of Human Resources

The College of Science is seeking a Program Coordinator. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position. The Research Development Unit (RDU) within the College of Science is focused on accelerating research growth by leveraging college resources to encourage faculty to address grand societal research challenges and target funding opportunities to increase the size and number of competitive research grants in alignment with the Oregon State University’s <a href="https://leadership.oregonstate.edu/strategic-plan" target="_blank">Strategic Plan SP4.0</a>, the college’s diversity action plan, <a href="https://science.oregonstate.edu/diversity-plan" target="_blank">Embedding Equity, Access and Inclusion</a>, and the College of Science’s <a href="https://science.oregonstate.edu/our-college/strategic-plan-2015-to-2020" target="_blank">Strategic Plan.</a> The RDU designs and implements services, using an equity, access and inclusion (EAI) lens to help faculty, staff and student investigators succeed in obtaining and maintaining intramural funding within Oregon State University (OSU), and extramural funding from federal agencies and foundation grants. &nbsp; The Program Coordinator is a member of the Research Development Unit working on complex projects, collaborating with faculty, staff, and researchers across the college and university. The Coordinator will report to the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies (Associate Dean) and collaborate with the Associate Dean and Director of Research Development (Director) to manage, administer and grow the programs within the Unit. The Coordinator will collaborate on activities across the unit and provide strategic input in several areas to increase the success of our research enterprise. Responsibilities include providing leadership and oversight within the Research Development Unit to manage projects, track and report research activities, develop and maintain databases of college proposal submissions and awards, provide data analysis and prepare quarterly reports of proposal submission and award progress in collaboration with the Associate Dean and Director. The Coordinator will collaboratively and independently design and implement workshops and other events and projects to support and enhance our research enterprise and portfolio. The Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Associate Dean and Director to develop metrics, including EAI metrics to assess our research, innovation seed-funding and outreach activities. The Coordinator will also develop tools and assist researchers in identifying and applying for external and internal funding opportunities and assist researchers with the grant submission process and provide proposal support to researchers submitting proposals as needed. &nbsp; OSU has a land grant mission and an institution-wide commitment to diversity, multiculturalism, and community. Works with the Associate Dean and Director to bring research teams together for large funding proposal and supports the proposal submission in coordination with the proposal support staff. &nbsp; Leads, designs and collaborates with the Associate Dean and Director in creating professional development opportunities for faculty, graduate students, postdocs and other researchers in the College for example, grant writing workshops, open forums, and seminars with program managers across pertinent funding agencies. &nbsp; Coordinates the annual spring OSU-OMSI Science Communication Fellowship Outreach Program and other activities with other college staff. &nbsp; Collaborates with the Associate Dean and graduate advisors in leading the selection committee and processes for graduate student scholarships, fellowships and research awards, faculty &amp; staff awards, and related activities. &nbsp; Updates, designs, and implements online templates using the OSU online portal, InfoReady for the college funding and award opportunities, such as the internal funding program, the Graduate student Fellowship/ scholarship application submission process, the faculty/researcher awards nominations, and other applicable opportunities. &nbsp; Supports the administration of small to medium sized research projects across the college and may collaborate and/or participate in the administration of large research projects in the College. &nbsp; 25% Proposal Support Exercises independent judgement and knowledge of best practices in research development and administration. &nbsp; Coordinates with the proposal support staff in assisting researchers with grant applications. Serves as backup to the proposal support staff and provides mentorship and guidance as needed. This includes assisting faculty with proposal preparation and submission from inception to submission. During busy times, the coordinator will work with the proposal support staff to assist faculty with proposal submissions, including but not limited to budget review/development, budget justification review/development, review of logistical pieces of proposal submission. &nbsp; Assists proposal leads with editing/writing proposals for clarity or offer guidance on strengthening the project description. &nbsp; Revises proposal budgets if requested upon award as needed as a backup to the proposal support staff. &nbsp; Collaborates with the Associate Dean and Director on updating procedures for managing cost share requests. &nbsp; Serves as a backup for the proposal internal review and approval process for proposals submitted to the OSRAA through Cayuse. &nbsp; Collaborates with other units on campus to maintain current information on proposal and award process and policies at the institutional, college and agency level. &nbsp; 10% Professional Development &amp; Other Activities Participates in training and professional development opportunities pertinent to the position, in consultation with and approval by the Associate Dean. &nbsp; Participates in equity, access, and inclusion learning opportunities. &nbsp; Other duties as needed.
