Job Overview

Our Asset Protection team uses advanced technology and analytics tools to reduce shortages and protect our company’s bottom line. The Visual Security Officer is an entry-level opportunity within Asset Protection with the primary responsibilities of communicating suspicious activity to Asset Protection detectives and management, maintaining a safe business environment, and providing strong customer service. The Visual Security Officer is primarily stationed at customer entrances and monitors customer traffic entering and exiting the store as a visual deterrent to theft.

Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week. What You Will Do
\n
<ul>\n
<li>Greet customers when they enter the store or a department within a store</li>
\n
<li>Use two-way communication devices to maintain contact with Asset Protection Detectives and Management</li>
\n
<li>Remain stationed at high traffic entrances and high-shortage areas to deter theft and monitor suspicious activity</li>
\n
<li>Maintain strict compliance with company policies regarding apprehensions, searches and evidence preservation</li>
\n
<li>Handle proprietary, sensitive, and confidential information</li>
\n
<li>Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities</li>

Communication: Comfortable communicating with customers&nbsp;

Essential Physical Requirements You Will Perform

<li>Walking and standing for majority of your shift</li>
\n
<li>Hearing, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus</li>

<li>Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching above eye level</li>
\n
<li>Lifting and moving items up to 30lbs</li>
\n</ul>
