The Retail Sales Associateis responsible for achieving sales goals by sharing your knowledge and passion of our seafood products in a polite, professional and efficient manner. The position requires the delivery of exceptional customer service, including but not limited to; providing a comfortable shopping experience, greeting customers, cutting and packing orders, answering questions, point-of-sale entry and handling payments.
Responsibilities:

<li>Exceed customer expectations by providing outstanding service in a welcoming environment.</li>
<li>Assist customers by answering product and service questions and suggesting information for appropriate alternatives.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain ongoing product knowledge to provide additional value to customers.</li>
<li>Receive deliveries and rotate product accordingly.</li>
<li>Assist in various housekeeping and merchandising duties, including monitoring, maintaining, and servicing the seafood display case.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean work area to ensure the highest standards of sanitation.</li>
<li>Contribute suggestions to continuous improvement of the retail operation.</li>
<li>Manage telephone calls professionally, efficiently and with effective communication skills.</li>
<li>Effectively manage time and organize workflow to meet deadlines.</li>
<li>Exhibit ability to work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Handle product properly to ensure maximum shelf life and sanitation.</li>
<li>Inform supervisor of any product or safety concerns.</li>
<li>Clean-up work station and department at the end of shift.</li>
<li>Communicate quality issues to supervisors.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>
