Director, Student Affairs

The Director of Pre-College Programs will be primarily responsible for leadership and direction for connecting with middle-school and early high school students to expand the eligibility pool in Louisiana. The Director will lead the program development, implementation, and growth efforts for LSU Future Scholars Program, a donor-funded program. This initiative provides promising students from historically underserved backgrounds free tuition if accepted to LSU while providing appropriate support for undergraduate scholars. The Future Scholars program provides a pipeline for seventh through twelfth-grade students to ensure access to higher education and the support needed for this cohort of students to succeed. The Director will use strong organizational skills, information integration, resource development, fundraising, and decision-making to lead staff and ensure programmatic development and delivery within the appropriate framework to attain results. The Director will collaborate with program partners to identify and recruit program participants state-wide. The Director is responsible for designing and strategically planning a Future Scholars Program that peer institutions want to replicate across the state, country, and globally.<ul><li>Provides strategic and tactical leadership for all pre-college programs, including but not limited to Future Scholars. This position will work with more than 1000 pre-college students, approximately 430 undergraduates yearly, and maintain relationships with Future Scholars alumni (about 2000 post-high school graduates). Position Summary

The HR M&amp;A Director is accountable for managing the full deal lifecycle from pre-LOI to integration. They will engage with specialists on the due diligence and integration teams, HR centers of expertise (COEs) and other partners, both within HR and outside of HR, to execute on the deal strategy. They will have accountability for stakeholder management and the overall employee experience.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead end to end deal activities for HR globally and in the Americas region. 
Develop HR and People deal strategy and integration approach and oversee implementation, considering the deal commercial and operational objectives. Solicit input and gain buy-in from stakeholders to ensure consistent and smooth execution.
Engage HR deal teams and resources regionally and globally, overseeing key activities and providing hands-on support. 
Coordinate involvement by HR partners, COEs and external consulting expertise at various deal milestones.
Ensure each deal is managed in accordance with HR governance and operating model.
Develop and maintain strong relationships and client focus for internal partners and external stakeholders.
Facilitate knowledge sharing across the due diligence and integration teams.
Serve as a primary point of contact for HR and point of escalation for deal HR matters.
Gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and participate in action planning.
