Major Responsibilities:
The overall responsibility of the Communications Manager is todevelop and implement communications programs that effectivelydescribe and promote psychoanalysis, APsA, and its members.&nbsp;The Communications Manager is responsible for three majorfunctional areas/projects: 1) general marketing and communicationsfor the Association; including social media marketing and contentwithin the Association’s website; 2) all media relations for theAssociation, including press releases and public statements; and 3)strategizing, developing, and implementing both external andinternal public relations programs and communications (includingcreating graphics, managing a podcast, and editing a column) thatenhance the visibility and promote the value of psychoanalysis.

Organization Management
The CEO is accountable for building high-performing teams,ensuring all teams are aligned and collaborating to achieveorganizational results.
