Nuclear Medical Technologist
Our&nbsp;imaging&nbsp;teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Fawcett Hospital, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner.

Your tasks and responsibilities as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist may include but are not limited to:

<li>Use radioactive isotopes to perform organ and body scans</li>
<li>Prepare radioactive isotopes for administration to patients in accordance with physicians' orders; May administer and record dosages as well</li>
<li>Perform diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce image of organ on photographic film</li>

<li>Compassionately explain procedures to patients</li>

Qualifications

<li>Graduate of an accredited and AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training program</li>
<li>Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)</li>
<li>Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist</li>
<li>Valid ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification required</li>
<li>Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire; ACLS within 6 months of hire</li>

Description Location: UCHealth Hghlnds Rnch, US:CO:Highlands Ranch Department: HRH Nuclear Med FTE: PRN, 0.0, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $40.40 - $56.56 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Minimum Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program.</li>
<li>Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or certified in nuclear medicine (NM) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State licensure if required by law. </li>
<li>BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. </li>
