Gross Anatomy is taught in the first semester and is focused on team-teaching and, as such, faculty have adequate time to engage in research and/or writing. Course description:&nbsp;Gross and Developmental Anatomy focuses on the gross structure of organs and their function, and through clinical correlations, relates each to clinical medicine.&nbsp; An Anatomical Learning Resource Center has been established to utilize computer-based instruction, anatomical models, radiographic materials as well as supervised laboratory sessions dissecting various parts of the human body.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Students study the structure and function of all organs with some interaction with cellular structure.&nbsp; This course incorporates an understanding of how embryological processes give rise to the mature body form.&nbsp; When this course is complete, each student will have extensive knowledge of the gross anatomy and development of the entire human body as it relates clinically to the practice of medicine.
Salary and Benefits: &nbsp;The position is full time and the salary is commensurate with teaching experience and degree.&nbsp; The faculty member is provided with an excellent health care plan which covers both US and St. Kitts health care. &nbsp; Since there are three fifteen week semesters the faculty member has seven weeks’ vacation a year which comes as the last two weeks in May, August, and three weeks in December.&nbsp; Faculty are also provided an annual one week leave with expenses to attend a pre-approved professional convention. Position Summary: The Development Director is instrumental in growing and overseeing LoveYourBrain’s multifaceted fundraising activities. Team Management

<li>Assure capture of data on CRM and drive accountability,evaluation and assessment measures and systems to capture theimpact of the Philanthropy at Synergos.</li>

Qualifications

Position Overview: Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Campus Operations provides strategic leadership for providing the highest quality physical environment for San Francisco Bay University to carry out its educational mission. The key responsibilities include: (1) property management, (2) long-term capital planning; (3) facilities operations; (4) campus safety, security, and emergency, (5) other auxiliary operations including student housing, online bookstore, and grab and go dining. The Director of Campus Operations supervises direct reports who manage facilities operations, safety and emergency operations, and auxiliary operations. Additionally, the Director oversees an operating budget of approximately $4M and a capital budget of $3M. This is a full-time, exempt, on-site position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Property Management
<ul>
<li>Oversee the activities of third-party property managers, including lease and sales negotiations, as well as the maintenance and operational integrity of all managed properties.</li>
<li>Evaluate the return on investment of all university-owned property and recommend actions to optimize the value for the university.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Capital Planning and Projects
<ul>
<li>Co-lead the campus master planning process; implement systems to manage workflow, assets, and capital projects effectively.</li>
<li>Provide leadership and technical expertise in long-range project planning, design, and construction; landscape planning; and maintenance and repair operations.</li>
<li>Manage contractors and vendors associated with facilities development and operations. Oversee the implementation and documentation of the University plans, historic facilities records, and archives.</li>
<li>Serve as the point of contact with appropriate city and county staff, agencies, commissions, and committees involved with approval, permitting and inspections of campus facilities.</li>
<li>Provide leadership on the implementation of federal regulations, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) construction and building accommodation requirements, and CalOSHA and Fed-OSHA Industrial Safety orders.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Facilities Operations
<ul>
<li>Oversee daily repair and maintenance of existing university-owned and controlled facilities.</li>
<li>Develop and implement a capital improvement and deferred maintenance program, including oversight of the renewal and replacement of facility and utility projects across their lifecycle.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, and keep updated to any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization.</li>
<li>Create and maintain regulatory programs and submit required reports and data to federal, state, and local agencies.</li>
<li>Ensure that environmental policy and procedure manuals are available and updated at all times.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Campus Safety, Security, and Emergency Management (outsourced)
<ul>
<li>Administer the Clery Act and serve as the Clery compliance officer.</li>
<li>Ensure a safe working environment that complies with regulatory guidance.</li>
<li>Develop and assess safety and emergency plans in line with current regulations. </li>
<li>Provide leadership for a comprehensive safety strategy, security operation, and emergency response plan for the campus.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Auxiliary Operations
<ul>
<li>Manage auxiliary functions, including current student housing operations, online bookstore, and grab-and-go dining operations.</li>
<li>Ensures proper collaboration with facilities operations and residential community coordination </li>
<li>Resource ManagementSupervises X staff</li>
<li>Manages all facilities operations and capital budgets.</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
 Minimum Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>A bachelor's degree is required in facilities management, engineering, property management, or a related field. </li>
<li>7+ years of demonstrated success in senior-level facilities management with an emphasis on quality service, responsiveness, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.</li>
<li>3+ years of supervisory experience, managing and coaching team members. </li>
<li>Experience managing major construction and renovation projects effectively.</li>
<li>Experience working with oversight committees and local/state authorities.</li>
</ul>
 Preferred Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Master's degree in a related field.</li>
<li>5+ years directing and supervising maintenance and operations in an institutional, preferably educational environment.</li>
<li>Advanced written and presentation skills.</li>
<li>Registration as a Professional Engineer or Architect in California.</li>
</ul>
 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
<ul>
<li>Working knowledge of all facets of major facilities planning, construction, and maintenance operations, including HVAC, electrical, and utility systems, utilizing computerized equipment. </li>
<li>Demonstrated success managing budgets.</li>
<li>Track record of managing million-dollar capital projects on time and within budget to clients' satisfaction. </li>
<li>Demonstrated working knowledge of city, state, and federal regulations relating to building design maintenance and construction.</li>
<li>Demonstrated knowledge of safety planning, security, and emergency planning and response.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of auxiliary operations, ideally within an institution of higher education.</li>
<li>Excellent customer service skills.</li>
<li>Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and manage teams to achieve department goals.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of sustainability issues, standards, and energy efficiency best practices. </li>
<li>Principles and practices of higher education organization and structures are preferred.</li>
<li>Understand and demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for the diverse academic, socio-economic, ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds, disability, and sexual orientation of college students, faculty, and staff.</li>
<li>Strong project management skills.</li>
<li>Experience with property management functions such as assessing fair market value, negotiating leases, tenant relations, and work order management.</li>
</ul>
 Work Environment and Physical Demands: 
<ul>
<li>Exposure to weather fluctuations.</li>
<li>Physical demands include lifting, bending, sitting, driving.</li>
</ul>
