Overview: At Securian Financial our Customer Operations Sr. Representatives are responsible to provide routine external customer-facing servicing and administration support ensuring that good customer relations are maintained, and customer business and issues are resolved fairly and effectively. Responsibilities include but not limited to: <li>  Assist with submitting P&amp;C form and rate filings to the state insurance departments. </li><li>  Assist with production and distribution of monthly marketing and management reports. </li><li>  Audit forms and rates to ensure state compliance. </li><li>  Send newly approved hard copy forms to software companies to create electronic forms for financial institutions to use. </li><li>  Order electronic forms for new and existing financial institution accounts. </li><li>  Mail out Extra Compensation monthly statements &amp; checks to brokers/agents. </li><li>  Issue contracts and start up paperwork to new financial institution credit accounts as requested by Allied Solutions. </li><li>  Review, assemble, and mail proposals as requested by Allied Solutions and inform SCC President or SCC VP-Financial Reporting of unusual commission requests. Involves assembling proposals; gathering  additional information as needed; printing and assembling proposals; reviewing for errors and ensuring proposals meet required specifications; preparing package for mailing; following-up to ensure proposal made it to the proper destination. </li><li>  Maintain the financial institution agent database on Stone Eagle. This includes: entering the data from new sales, name changes, address changes, and handling general correspondence. </li><li>  Separate and distribute production reports to individual brokers. </li><li>  General clerical duties. </li><li>  Perform related activities as directed, and manage personal self-development to prepare for new responsibilities and challenges in a changing environment. </li><li>  Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: </li><li>  Communication skills to effectively field phone calls from financial institutions, state insurance departments and various software companies. </li><li>  Understanding of technical concepts and terminology to discuss with financial institutions and software companies computer system and database specifications, software requirements, and laser printer requirements to ensure proper design and compatibility of laser printed forms. </li><li>  Communication skills to effectively field phone calls from financial institutions and communicate with various software companies. </li><li>  Proficient use of PC-based software applications, primarily Microsoft Word and Excel. </li><li>  The ability to perform in a fast paced environment and keep up with the work flow. </li><li>  Good mathematical skills. Preferred Qualifications: </li><li>  Previous customer service experience in insurance or business setting. </li><li>  Previous data entry experience.
