We are hiring Boilermakers for Outage in Geismar Area.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
-Assembles, analyzes defects in, and repairs boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, and vats in field, following blueprints and using hand tools and portable power tools and equipment. -Locates and marks reference points for columns or plates on foundation, using master straightedge, squares, transit, and measuring tape, and applying knowledge of geometry. -Attaches rigging or signals crane operator to lift parts to specified position. -Aligns structures or plate sections to assemble boiler frame, tanks, or vats, using plumb bobs, levels, wedges, dogs, or turnbuckles. Hammers, flame-cuts, files, or grinds irregular edges of sections or structural parts to facilitate fitting edges together. -Bolts or arc-welds structures and sections together. Positions drums and headers into supports and bolts or weld supports to frame. -Aligns water tubes and connects and expands ends to drums and headers, using tube expander. Bells, beads with power hammer, or welds tube ends to ensure leakproof joints. -Bolts or welds casing sections, uptakes, stacks, baffles, and such fabricated parts as chutes, air heaters, fan stands, feeding tube, catwalks, ladders, coal hoppers, and safety hatch to frame, using wrench. -Installs manholes, handholes, valves, gauges, and feedwater connection in drums to complete assembly of water tube boilers. -Assists in testing assembled vessels by pumping water or gas under specified pressure into vessel and observing instruments for evidence of leakage.

-Repairs boilers or tanks in field by unbolting or flame cutting defective sections or tubes, straightening plates, using torch or jacks, installing new tubes, fitting, and welding new sections, and replacing worn lugs on bolts. -May rivet and caulk sections of vessels, using pneumatic riveting and caulking hammers. -May line firebox with refractory brick and asbestos roper and blocks. May fabricate such parts as stacks, uptakes, and chutes to adapt boiler to premises in which it is installed.

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties supporting Operations, Engineering and R&amp;D activities such as: installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing both process control systems and facility equipment with a specific focus on preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
<ul>
<li>Repairs, maintains and installs industrial equipment such as: compressors, blowers, fans, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, steam generator/boiler, furnace, water treatment systems.</li>
<li>Install and maintain industrial process piping systems with an adherence to plant piping standards.</li>
<li>Facility/building maintenance may require some tasks in HVAC, electrical and carpentry.</li>
<li>Use and interpret schematics, PFDs, P&amp;IDs, blueprints and manuals related to plant equipment.</li>
<li>Serve as an "on-call" technician during off-hours, weekends and holidays as part of the call out rotation to perform limited troubleshooting and repair mechanical equipment.</li>
<li>Safety is paramount, you will proactively learn and follow all plant procedures and safety regulations.</li>
<li>Ensures all daily activities are tracked/logged through the CMMS W.O. management system and are performed in a safe, efficient and timely manner.</li>
<li>Maintains a high standard of housekeeping, workmanship and accountability.</li>
<li>Follows good engineering practices to maintain a high level of quality and reliability.</li>

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or technical certificate.</li>
<li>5+ years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.</li>
<li>Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in industrial mechanical maintenance such as: Welders, Machinists, Millwrights, Boilermakers, Pipefitters and other industrial mechanical trades.</li>
<li>Proficient in diagnostics and root cause analysis.</li>
<li>Demonstrated working knowledge and conformity to safety protocols such as: LOTO, PPE, Fall-Protection, Confined Space Entry, Hot Work and other life critical safety protocols.</li>
<li>Experience working with aerial boom lifts, scissor lifts and forklifts.</li>
</ul>

&nbsp; Alumni Clubs Scholarship Program

<li>Contribute to strategic planning to strengthen and expand alumni club scholarship programs.</li>
<li>Increase student applications and fundraising through targeted events, marketing, social media, and growth initiatives.</li>
<li>Lead the promotion of the alumni club scholarship program, including planning, training, marketing, and execution.</li>
<li>Serve as the primary contact for program administration, including promotion, timelines, review management, and coordination with students and clubs.</li>
<li>Drive visibility and participation through events, fundraising, communications, and resource development.</li>
<li>Partner with the Alumni Club Executive Assistant to provide operational updates and award details to leaders and students.</li>

&nbsp; Social Media &amp; Digital Engagement
<ul>
<li>Develop and manage strategies to increase alumni engagement through social media channels.</li>
<li>Partner with Marketing and Communications to create professional, visually engaging content and assets for clubs across multiple platforms.</li>
<li>Collect and analyze social media metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth) to monitor performance, track trends, and inform content strategy.</li>
<li>Deliver insights, recommendations, and training to club leaders and senior leadership.</li>
<li>Increase digital engagement across PFLF platforms (e.g., Purdue Ties, Hands On).</li>
<li>Provide posting and administrative support for the Club Leaders Facebook Page.</li>
</ul>
 Data-Driven Strategy &amp; Optimization

<li>Manage tracking and reporting of alumni club program data, including social media, scholarships, and engagement metrics.</li>
<li>Partner with Data Analytics and Operations teams to develop accurate dashboards and reports that inform decision-making and demonstrate impact.</li>
<li>Deliver actionable insights to improve engagement strategies and club performance.</li>
<li>Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with organizational reporting standards.</li>
</ul>
