Summary / Objective
Marquis Industrial Services is currently recruiting for Boilermakers with experience in the oil and gas industry. You must be able to assist with designing and installing boilers, closed vats, or containers that hold liquid or gases. Perform repairs as necessary. 
Essential Functions
<ul>
<li> Adheres to all OSHA, site specific and Marquis Industrial Services safety requirements </li>
<li> Participate in safety pre-job audits (JSA’s) with the work crew to ensure all safety hazards have been identified</li>
<li> Bolt or arc welds pressure vessel structures and parts together, using wrenches or welding equipment. </li>
<li> Attach rigging and signal crane or hoist operators to lift heavy frame and plate sections or other parts into place. </li>
<li> Lay out plate, sheet steel, or other heavy metal and locate and mark bending and cutting lines, using protractors, compasses and drawing instrument or templates. </li>
<li> Shape seams, joints, or irregular edges of pressure vessel sections or structural parts to attain specified fit of parts, using cutting torches, hammers, files, or metalworking machines. </li>

<li> Position, align, and secure structural parts or related assemblies to boiler frames, tanks, or vats of pressure vessels, following blueprints. </li>

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties supporting Engineering, Operations and R&amp;D for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining both process control systems and facility equipment with a specific focus on preventative and predictive maintenance activities.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

-Repairs, maintains and installs industrial equipment such as: compressors, blowers, fans, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, steam generator/boiler, furnace, water treatment systems.
-Install and maintain industrial process piping systems with an adherence to plant piping standards.
-Facility/building maintenance may require some tasks in HVAC, electrical and carpentry.
-Use and interpret schematics, PFDs, P&amp;IDs, blueprints and manuals related to plant equipment.
-Serve as an “on-call” technician during off-hours, weekends and holidays as part of the call out rotation to perform limited troubleshooting and repair mechanical equipment.
-Safety is paramount, you will proactively learn and follow all plant procedures and safety regulations.
-Ensures all daily activities are tracked/logged through the CMMS W.O. management system and are performed in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
-Maintains a high standard of housekeeping, workmanship and accountability.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

-Requires a minimum of a HS Diploma or technical certificate and five (5) years industrial maintenance experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
-Looking for good general mechanical aptitude and experience with industrial mechanical maintenance: Welders, Machinists, Millwrights, Boilermakers, Pipefitters, and other industrial mechanical trades.
-Comprehensive knowledge of rigging of equipment, set-up and alignment of machinery.
-Proficient in diagnostics and root cause analysis.
-Demonstrated working knowledge and conformity to safety protocols such as: LOTO, PPE, Fall-Protection, Confined Space Entry, Hot Work and other life critical safety protocols.
-Experience working with aerial boom lifts, scissor lifts and forklifts.

Industrial Maintenance Technician

<h3>Job Description</h3>
General Summary
Based on supplied and developed engineering detail; perform calculations, draft CAD drawings and transfer engineering data to aid field staff and craft to make required equipment modifications; install new equipment; and develop RFI's. Market served is heavy industrial construction. Equipment or materials typically encountered includes but is not limited to pressure vessels, piping systems or structural steel.
Essential Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Mobilize to site and work from temporary facilities for protracted periods of time to ensure expected results.</li>
<li>Manages his/her day to day assignment for timely task completion.</li>
<li>Incorporate safety and environmental responsibility into daily personal actions.</li>
<li>Proactively work with the Safety Department monitoring Site Safety Compliance, this may include presenting safety related information to Craft Safety meetings.</li>
<li>Archive and maintain project documents per Nooter Management System, NMS, procedures as directed by the Site PM.</li>
<li>Create and audit Engineering Document Files Logs.</li>
<li>Develop Requests for Information, Field Change Orders and their logs as directed by the Site PM.</li>
<li>Interpret design/drawings and specifications to develop comprehensive understanding of project execution plan, to identify critical areas requiring increased oversight, to identify items that are non-conforming to job requirements and to supply pertinent information to crafts installing materials.</li>
<li>Prepare drawings and sketches to support construction work, change orders, estimates, etc.</li>
<li>Acquire as-built data through field measurement as required to assess existing equipment in preparation for replacement or planned modifications.</li>
<li>Provide necessary building control lines, demolition and final cut lines, elevation lines or part alignment lines as needed for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials.</li>
<li>Research and recommend resolutions to drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interference and errors.</li>
<li>Assist with inventory, perform inspection of customer supplied material and equipment for compliance with job requirements as received on the job site and when necessary purchase Nooter Construction supplied materials.</li>
<li>Work with the assigned Rigging Engineer completing field measurements for crane placements and provide technical support and direction to implement rigging plans when necessary.</li>
<li>Conduct regular walk downs and inspections of construction projects, including safety audits, to ensure compliance with O.S.H.A., customer and project specifications.</li>
<li>Prepare and disseminate required documentation records, such as status reports, punch lists for uncompleted work, red-line drawings of completed work, material requirement calculations, etc., to appropriate staff or customer personnel.</li>
<li>Cross-train with other departments to develop a thorough understanding of their purpose, procedures, responsibilities and requirements to operate effectively.</li>
<li>Collaborate with customer or their engineering company, subcontract, staff or craft personnel on daily basis to actively manage the work performed to ensure successful completion of the project.</li>
<li>Assist other site staff members in completion of their assigned tasks.</li>
<li>Serves as team member at Client meetings as directed by the Site PM.</li>
<li>Develop a thorough understanding of applicable codes required for completion of the project.</li>

Required Skills or Abilities
