The Physical Therapist (PT) works with patients to improve their movement and manage their pain. The PT uses a variety of techniques to help patients, including manual therapy, strengthening and stretching exercises, electrical stimulation, laser, ultrasound, ice/heat, and much more. The PT will commonly work with patients who suffer from back and neck injuries, fractures, neurological disorders, work or sports-related injuries, and other conditions. Responsibilities

<li>Our clinical staff provide physical therapy to patients in an out-patient setting.</li>
<li>In this role, you’ll create individualized care plans for each treatment, collaborate with colleagues to optimize care, and grow relationships with your staff and the community you support.</li>
<li>Here in the clinic, you will utilize a state-of-the-art EMR for documentation, reporting, and data collection while compiling with all federal, state, and insurance-based rules and regulations.</li>

Qualifications

Compensation: $85,000 - $115,000+ with enhanced incentive plans offering up to $2,500/month in bonuses every 4 weeks — up to $32,500 a year. A community services organization in New York City is looking to add a licensed Physical Therapist to join their team at one of their schools in Pelham. In this role, the Physical Therapist (PT) will be responsible for assessing student's motor skills and developing &amp; implementing goals designed to enhance the student's learning potential. About the Opportunity:

Responsibilities:

<li>Make observations during preliminary screening of new students, and/or ongoing evaluations of students enrolled in the school.</li>
<li>Based on clinical observations and formal evaluations, write a full description of the child's performance and behavior during evaluation referencing his/her muscular-skeletal status, postural adjustment reactions and gross motor development, as they impact on the student's ability to participate and benefit from the educational environment.</li>
<li>Make suggestions for approaches and activities that might enhance the student's ability to participate</li>
<li>Demonstrate approaches and activities to be implemented by educational staff that will improve children's abilities to participate in the classroom</li>
<li>Help the staff identify children's specific sensory and motor skill levels including posture, gait, stair climbing and negotiation of the school environment.</li>
<li>Individual and group related service provision and documentation.</li>
<li>
Develop a series of developmentally-graded activities based on evaluation

<li>Maintain mandated documentation of treatment and progress</li>
<li>Submit a written report of the progress of the children at the end of each school year.</li>
