PHI’s Senior Workforce Intervention Specialist works to improve job quality for direct care workers by contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of PHI’s practice-based employment and training models. As a part of PHI’s Workforce Innovations Team (WIT), they will specialize in leading engagements related to operationalizing and evaluating meaningful advancement opportunities that expand the direct care career ladder; additionally, they may support programs aimed at strengthening recruitment and retention practices, creating a coaching culture, developing adult-learner centered training, and assessing direct care job quality. Outstanding skills in critical thinking, proactive leadership, written and verbal communication, relationship building, and workforce and organizational development are essential for success in this role. &nbsp;
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Lead the implementation of PHI practice-based job quality interventions, including creating and maintaining work plans and timelines, managing partner relationships, executing project activities, and reporting progress to PHI’s Vice President of Workforce Innovations through verbal and written communication.</li>
<li>Build and manage relationships with numerous strategic workforce partners – including long-term care employers, payors, advocates, and others - to support collaboration and the successful integration of job quality practices.</li>
<li>Provide technical assistance and consulting to project-based partners to support program design, implementation, and evaluation; this will include intensive, hands-on support to project partners to assess and modify organizational practices in support of implementing and maintaining workplace environments conducive to high-quality direct care jobs.</li>
<li>Routinely meet programmatic deadlines and proactively communicate impediments to the Vice President of Workforce Innovations.</li>
<li>Produce high-quality project deliverables in line with PHI and WIT acceptance criteria including PowerPoint slide deck presentations, external and internal reports, project worksheets, assessment tools, workflows, and other items as needed to meet project goals.</li>
<li>Plan, facilitate, and document meetings, informational sessions, webinars and other interactions with external partners; this could include coordinating planning with WIT and other PHI staff members, sending meeting invitations and conferencing information to attendees, creating and disseminating agendas, facilitation, documenting and archiving associated notes, and establishing next steps.</li>
<li>Collaborate with WIT staff to coordinate team roles, optimize efficiency, and meet project goals.</li>
<li>Work with WIT staff to support the development of PHI’s online and in-person workforce training curricula; act as a subject matter expert to inform the creation of contextualized content that reflects the lived experiences of workers within a PHI intervention.</li>
<li>Work with WIT to apply principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion to PHI’s job quality models; contribute to the development of new workforce training and practice strategies aimed at improving job quality for a diverse direct care workforce.</li>
<li>Collaborate with PHI’s Vice President of Research and Evaluation and Vice President of Workforce Innovations to develop and implement evaluation efforts that build the evidence base for sustained investment in direct care job quality interventions.</li>
<li>Collaborate with PHI’s Director of Philanthropy to provide project data and information as needed to support funder reporting and communication efforts.</li>
<li>Serve as a resource to PHI’s Policy Team on workforce and organizational development practices as needed.</li>
<li>Promote PHI’s school of thought and the dissemination of effective practice models through speaking at conferences, contributing to PHI’s blog, and cultivating external relationships to bring in new business. QUALIFICATIONS</li>
<li>Minimum five years’ experience in workforce and organizational development, preferably within the long-term care, aging, and/or disability sectors.</li>
<li>Proven experience successfully designing, leading, and evaluating complex interventions from inception to completion in alignment with organizational strategic impact aims.</li>
<li>Advanced ability to show proactive, independent leadership while maintaining communication and connection to team members.</li>
<li>Experience working within an Agile framework preferred, though not required.</li>

The College of Science is seeking a Program Coordinator. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position. The Associate Dean will play a crucial role in leadership for the College of Education and Professional Studies (CEPS) in the years ahead. The Associate Dean collaborates with the Dean and CEPS Administrative team on planning and implementing college strategic initiatives. This includes supporting CEPS administrative leaders in equity-focused program assessment and accreditation, culturally responsive curriculum and program development, cultivation of business and community partnerships, and strategic management of course offerings and scheduling for the college. The Associate Dean also has an important role in facilitating the implementation of policies and procedures related to the college and the university. This position oversees the CEPS Director of Advising and the Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator and reports to the Dean of CEPS.&nbsp;All employees are expected to facilitate CWU’s commitment to diversity and to foster and advance inclusion in the university environment.

The Role:
The Associate Dean is a leadership partner to the Dean. Primary responsibilities include supervision, coordination and leadership for all curricular issues, general education, and graduate education; implementation of College of Education and Professional Studies (CEPS) courses, programs and strategic priorities; and policy coordination. The Associate Dean also serves on a variety of college and university committees and acts in the Dean's absence.&nbsp;
Job Duties Support for the Dean: -&nbsp;Collaborate with the Dean on planning college strategic initiatives, participate in college fundraising, and coordinate implementation of CEPS strategic priorities. -&nbsp;Provide CEPS administrative leaders support in areas of culturally responsive curriculum development, equity-focused institutional assessment and improvement, human resource management, faculty/staff development and performance evaluations, and budget and finance. -&nbsp;Support the Dean in decision-making, information gathering, report draft preparation, meeting attendance, and follow-through on matters assigned to the chairs and interdisciplinary program directors. -&nbsp;Collaborate with the other Associate Deans. -&nbsp;Collaborate to ensure program quality and effectiveness and to promote student learning, student satisfaction, and student retention in all student populations. -&nbsp;Attend Associate Deans and Academic Affairs meetings. -&nbsp;Act in the Dean’s absence.
Academic Programs and Curricular Management: -&nbsp;Provide strategic management of general education, graduate education, and major program and course offerings, as well as new program development. -&nbsp;Assist with CurricuLog approval changes. -&nbsp;Review and approve course schedules. -&nbsp;Attend Faculty Senate Curriculum Committee meetings. -&nbsp;Support collaboration across units with graduate education and research, including grant proposals. -&nbsp;Provide consultations and advocacy for student concerns.
Communications/Community/College: -&nbsp;Work closely with the Dean, the Director of Development, and the Alumni Relations Coordinator to assist in program development activities and newsletter articles. - Encourage and support business, industry, and community partnerships. -&nbsp;Assist with media relations pertaining to CEPS programs. -&nbsp;Interact with faculty, administrators, staff, students, alumni, other University constituencies, and outside agencies.
Policy Coordination and Committee Membership: -&nbsp;Represent the college on committees as assigned. -&nbsp;Work with the Dean to maintain policies and procedures related to the college and the university. -&nbsp;Approve grade changes, incompletes, independent studies, and internships consistent with university and program policies.
Supervision: -&nbsp;Oversee the supervision of the Director of Advising and the Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator. -&nbsp;Clearly define performance expectations, ensure accountability, and provide ongoing informal feedback, coaching, and mentoring. Conduct formal performance evaluations. -&nbsp;Recognize value of and promote diverse workforce. Value and encourage diverse perspectives, creativity, and teamwork -&nbsp;Ensure employees have necessary resources. -&nbsp;Oversee and direct the work of staff; serve as mentor, coach, and leader, and resolve complaints or issues. -&nbsp;Promote professional development opportunities. -&nbsp;Develop and foster supportive working relationships, motivation, and engagement. -&nbsp;Communicate information to staff on an ongoing basis to influence staff engagement and to be a part of a larger community. -&nbsp;Take corrective action in a timely manner. -&nbsp;Recognize and reward employees for good performance -&nbsp;Schedule employee work hours/shifts; monitor hours worked; approve payable time and absence requests. - Adjust leadership style as needed to achieve results.

Minimum Qualifications Earned doctorate from an accredited institution in a discipline associated with programs represented in the College of Education and Professional Studies. A record of teaching effectiveness, professional leadership, and scholarship sufficient to support tenure in one of the CEPS’s academic departments. Demonstrated successful departmental or college-level administrative, leadership, and budget experience in an institution of higher education. Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of inclusion and equity issues within a residential liberal arts environment Collaborative and forward-thinking leadership style with the ability to cultivate and maintain strategic internal and external partnerships to benefit the success of students, colleagues, and initiatives. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated expertise in analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data. Experience with culturally responsive curriculum development and with assessment of programmatic, general education, and course-level outcomes for accreditation. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams. Excellent relationship building skills and initiative and enjoy working with minimal supervision in a dynamic, collaborative academic atmosphere. Demonstrated ability and/or experience working with students and/or co-workers from a wide range of abilities, backgrounds, and experiences.
