Customer Experience
<ul>
<li>Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.</li>
<li>Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy, etc.) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied, etc.).</li>

Operations
<ul>
<li>Provides customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.</li>
<li>Recommends items for sale to customer and recommends trade-up and/or companion items.</li>
<li>Registers customer purchases on assigned cash register, collects cash and distributes change as requested; processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. Takes customer to OTC aisle when possible to assist in locating products.</li>
<li>Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, takes inventory, and maintains records. Checks in and prices merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader.</li>
<li>Performs duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist and Store Manager including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring information is entered correctly, filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine is correct, and checking for possible interactions. Assists pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow.</li>
<li>Reports, immediately, prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adheres to Company policies and procedures in relation to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program. Reviews and complies with the Walgreen Co. Pharmacy Code of Conduct.</li>
<li>Strictly adheres to the Walgreen Co. policy regarding Good Faith Dispensing during all applicable prescription dispensing activities.</li>
<li>Handles telephone calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians.</li>
<li>Processes (corrects and resubmits) manual claims for third party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and performs other clerical duties, as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.</li>
<li>Assists and supports Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as, ordering, unpacking, checking and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals. Maintains knowledge of Company asset protection techniques, and files claims for warehouse overages (merchandise received, but not billed), shortages (merchandise billed, but not received), order errors or damaged goods involving Rx drugs.</li>
<li>Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products).</li>
<li>Constructs and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. Completes resets and revisions as directed.</li>
<li>Assists with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves). For consumable items, assists in stock rotation, using the first in, first out method and restock outs.</li>
<li>Has working knowledge of store systems and store equipment.</li>
<li>Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products.</li>
<li>Assumes web pick-up responsibilities (monitors orders in Picture Care Plus, fills orders (pick items), delivers orders to customers as they arrive at store).</li>
<li>Assists with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.</li>
<li>Complies with all company policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.</li>
<li>Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.</li>

Training &amp; Personal Development
<ul>
<li>Earns and maintains PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration.</li>
<li>Attends training and completes PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate and acquires continuing education credits. Maintains knowledge and skill in healthcare and pharmacy, including latest news and developments.</li>

 Basic Qualifications

SUMMARY
Responsible for the development and operation of an effective system of accounting, budgetary, financial, asset and production controls over all activities. Advises and makes recommendations concerning financial and control aspects. 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Develops a financial partnership with the General Manager to develop, implement, and support a financial plan for each entity and the shared services corporation.
· Adheres to the policies established by the Finance Committee and maintains a dialogue with the Treasurer and General Manager to establish new policies as necessary.
· Recommends and directs the development of the company system of accounting and budgeting policies, procedures, programs, and practices necessary to provide the effective and efficient operation of each entity.
· Recommends and directs the development of the company’s statistical reporting systems and related policies and procedures.
· Advises and guides within the framework of his/her delegated authority from the General Manager, the Department Managers in the proper use of these accounting and statistical systems and their related procedures, programs, and practices, toward the maximum implementation of policies.
· Directs the preparation and presentation of each entities budget and sees that the various Department Managers are advised and assisted as necessary in the preparation of their individual budgets.
· Acts as key contact and authorized signatory for Association bank accounts, accounting issues, vendor and payable issues, and auditors. 
· Ensures all organization tax return filings and business licensing for the Association are maintained accurately and on time. 
· Handles and monitors cash, investments and recorded debt set forth by Board guidelines.
· Analyzes and presents monthly to the various Department Managers regarding their department’s variations between budgeted performance and actual results in both assets and operating accounts and suggests possible corrective actions.
· Directs and coordinates as internal accounting and auditing activities with the other functions of the accounting offices and with the independent public accountants, discloses all unusual or apparent variations from authorized and accepted principles to these accountants.
· Oversees the billing and/or other contractual accounts for their fees and charges and the enforcement of rules in connection with limitation thereon.
· Safeguards the Association assets and books of accounts; sees that entries in these books are properly recorded, and that all financial statements issued are consistent with these books.
· Sees that federal, state, and local tax returns and license applications are promptly, properly, and accurately prepared, and that every effort is made to minimize such charges by payment so as to benefit from all discounts offered, etc.
· Directs and reviews the taking of all physical inventories; verifies values; investigates variations between actual and recorded values; calls such variations to the attention of the appropriate Department Leader.
· Safeguards cash on hand and funds in the various bank accounts; sees that income is properly and correctly deposited; approves all coding of invoices and supervises the drawing of all checks.
· Supervises the accounts receivable and preparation of lists of past due accounts; notifies the drawee of returned checks; reminds by mail, email, or phone such delinquent accounts, and reports remaining delinquent accounts to the General Manager, Corporate Control and President of the Board.
· Manages the cash requirements of the Association communicates cash needs and shortfalls to the General Manager.
· Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems for all staff members within specific areas of responsibility.
· Reviews and recommends vendor and utility services, provisions, and contracts. 
· Reconciles all bank account statements for monthly accuracy of bank activity that serves as part of internal audit function.
· Instrumental in IT recommendations for software and hardware updates, upgrades, implementations, and maintenance that will produce the best reporting results and cost effectiveness. 
· Ensures operations of Associations financial standards, methods and operations are compliant and current with all local, state, and federal regulatory agencies. 
· Negotiates and analyzes employee benefits including health and life insurance, 401k, and workers’ compensation; gathers information and assists the general manager and human resources in making decisions about subsidization levels for employee benefit plans.
· Provides financial analyses for capital investments, contract terms, and pricing decisions of the Association. 
· Maintains membership in outside professional organizations, attends conferences, workshops and meetings to keep updated on current information and developments in the field.
· Manages the Capital Replacement Reserve Study completed by Dreux Isaac, ensuring accurate tracking of asset lifecycles and funding needs. Regularly reviews and updates the study to reflect changes in asset conditions, replacement costs, and financial projections, ensuring adequate reserves for future capital expenditures.
· All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting from a four-year accredited college or university.
· A minimum of 7 years’ experience in professional accounting with at least two of those years at the Controller level or equivalent, preferably in a homeowner’s association operation, upscale hotel or country club.
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a finance/accounting team.
· Experience with Jonas and Paylocity software applications a plus.
· Must possess an excellent knowledge of finance, accounting, and financial management techniques.
· Proficient in analyzing, interpreting data, and preparing reports.
· Must have experience with Fund Accounting and experience in accounting for multiple entities.
• Advanced Level in Microsoft Excel is required. Proficient in Microsoft Applications including Word, Powerpoint, Teams, Sharepoint etc. 
• Experience working with volunteer Boards and committees is a plus.
• Strong knowledge in HOA reserve and fund accounting.
• Strong working knowledge of current technology and software programs.
• Experienced with administration of 401K and defined benefit retirement plans.
• Experience with construction and renovation projects, including reporting, is desired.
• Ability to gather relevant inputs from individuals across various functions and experience levels for informed forecasting and analysis.
• Experience with overseeing management of Information Technology outsourced to third party vendor.
• Experience with negotiation and selection of employee sponsored benefit and worker’s compensation programs.
• Experience with the management of property, casualty, and liability-related insurance policies to ensure asset protection.
 
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
· Florida notary public preferred
· First Aid/CPR/AED Certified preferred.
· CPA or CHAE preferred.
