About the role

 Overview: We are looking for a hard-working, upbeat individual to join our growing Customer Experience team. As part of the customer experience team at McGee &amp; Co., we strive to ensure that our customers have the same great feeling of quality products and services that they know from Studio McGee while they shop online. The customer experience team works directly with the buying, fulfillment, and operations team to make sure that our selection of products meets our brand and customer expectations all throughout the order process.

What You'll Need:
<ul>
<li>Proven work experience in a customer service or similar role </li>
<li>Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices </li>
<li>Excellent organizational skills </li>
<li>Strong communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to handle difficult conversations and manage issue resolution </li>
<li>Ability to be a self-starter that can work under minimal supervision </li>
<li>High school degree; BS degree in communication or related field a plus </li>
</ul>
 
What You'll Do:
<ul>
<li>Assist in responding to all customer-service related inquiries via email and phone in a timely manner </li>
<li>Handle escalated customer service issues as necessary with courtesy and eloquence </li>
<li>Engage in direct communication with our clients regarding any order related information </li>
<li>Assist the fulfillment team with damage claims at the manufacturer and carrier level </li>
<li>Coordinate all direct sales orders as needed </li>
</ul>

 Title: Local Part-Time Customer Service &amp; Social Media Associate (Remote with In-Person Duties) Description: Were a growing, locally owned hardware and home improvement business seeking a reliable and tech-savvy Customer Service &amp; Social Media Associate to support our online operations remotely with periodic in-person meetings and store-based tasks. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing administrative customer service duties with light creative content work. Key Responsibilities:

<li>Handle customer service requests via Zendesk, email, and chat </li>
<li>Manually process and follow up on online orders requiring intervention </li>
<li>Answer and return customer phone calls professionally using RingCentral </li>
<li>Log interactions and updates accurately in our CRM and Order Management Systems </li>
<li>Assist with creating and scheduling social media content (photo/video posts, captions, basic engagement) </li>
<li>Capture content on-site and support minor in-store promotional initiatives </li>

Requirements:

Work Schedule:

<li>Part-time, starting at 20 hours per week with growth potential up to 40 hours per week </li>
<li>Must be available Monday mornings (EST). Preferred hours AM throughout the week. </li>
