This position performs functions associated with all wafer production operations, including photolithography, thin film, etch, BGBM and diffusion. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

<li>Operates &amp; evaluates all process and metrology equipment within assigned area, upon successful completion of certification by trainer and engineer.</li>
<li>Assures equipment meets all qualification and maintenance schedules as required by specification before processing product.</li>
<li>Evaluates both product and qualification wafers through measurement and/or visual inspection. Responsible for accurate entry of that data into workstream system for assessment of processing using SPC controls.</li>
<li>Escalates any failure of product and/or qualification wafers to engineering for evaluation.</li>
<li>Escalates any process or metrology equipment errors to the equipment technicians for repair and recovery.</li>

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

<li>Must be able to carry pods weighing up to 12 pounds using two hands repetitively over a 12 hour period. Must be able to pick pods from and place pods to storage racks ranging in height from the knees to the shoulders.</li>
<li>Must be able to push/pull carts of pods ranging from 50 to 100 pounds as necessary for transport of material from one area to the next.</li>
<li>Must be able to stand and walk for extended time periods during a 12 hour shift.</li>
<li>Must be able to comply with clean room specifications that require all technicians to wear a clean room suit, including hood, mask, protective eye-wear and clean room boots.</li>
<li>Manual process areas (CMP, Sort, BGBM) also required to grasp cassette handle with one hand while supporting cassette, weighing up to 12 pounds, with the other hand to manually load process equipment in the area.</li>

Job Description
The primary responsibility for this role involves kitting and packaging operations, including preparing manufactured cartridges for shipment. These tasks are critical as products are shipped across the US and internationally. The position requires working in a temperature-controlled environment.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Perform kitting assembly operations.</li>
<li>Operate process equipment such as balances, pneumatic presses, pumps, and heat sealers.</li>
<li>Conduct simple bulk formulations when necessary.</li>
<li>Ensure the flow cell contains the correct product, following detailed work instructions housed in a cloud-based application.</li>
<li>Operate a heat sealing machine to properly seal the flow cell with foil.</li>
<li>Align the flow cell correctly in the labeling machine to ensure accurate reading by the sequencer.</li>
<li>Cut off excess foil using the designated machine.</li>
</ul>
