Flight operations will be conducted utilizing a number of general aviation aircraft, UAS platforms, autopilots, and sensors. Responsibilities: This position is based in Fort Worth, TX, with an estimated company travel requirement of up to 75%. <li>Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline or equivalent industry experience&nbsp;</li>
<li>Experience performing a secondary skillset while piloting (e.g. tactical aircraft, firefighting, cropdusting, SAR, ISR, law enforcement, etc.)</li>
<li>Current Second Class FAA Medical Certificate or higher</li>
<li>2+ years of professional experience in flight operations</li>

Preferred Criteria

<li>Graduate of an SETP recognized flight test school</li>
<li>Recent Caravan or PT6A experience</li>
<li>Diversity of experience in multiple aircraft/ airframes</li>
<li>Experience as a CFI or military flight instructor</li>
<li>Experience with automated and/or large remotely operated vehicles (UAS, spacecraft, etc)</li>
<li>Experience working in a Flight Test program focused on Certification</li>
<li>Experience in developing flight procedures, training curricula, and safety management systems</li>
<li>Experience flying for a 14 CFR part 135 or 121 Air Carrier</li>
<li>Deep understanding of FAA certification processes and their implementation</li>
<li>In depth knowledge of systems engineering processes and principles</li>

Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time. Five Key Roles:
Drone Application of Agricultural Products
<ul>
<li>Perform custom application with spray drone</li>
<li>Apply crop nutrients and crop protection products in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner</li>
<li>Mixing, loading, and application of crop protection products and plant nutrition</li>
<li>Ability to understand the chemistry and aerial label requirements of products</li>
</ul>
Drone Operations and Equipment Maintenance
<ul>
<li>Responsible for completing a pre-flight inspections and daily logs</li>
<li>Responsible scheduling and field mission planning</li>
<li>Complete and maintain required application reports, vehicle inspection reports, and other required documentation</li>
</ul>
Equipment Maintenance
<ul>
<li>Operate, service, and maintain custom application equipment</li>
<li>Assist with housekeeping and maintenance of the facility, roadways and assigned vehicles/equipment</li>
</ul>
Customer Service
<ul>
<li>Accurately load and unload product</li>
<li>Provide prompt and courteous customer service</li>
<li>Provide customers with maps and application reports</li>

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

Qualifications:

<li>Currently pursuing a degree in Precision Ag/Ag Systems Technology, or other Agriculture related degree program</li>

<li>Ability to obtain FAA Drone Remote Pilot Certification</li>
<li>Agricultural or Ag retail background</li>
<li>Previous internship experience desired </li>
<li>Desire to serve farmers, agribusinesses and others involved in the agriculture industry </li>

<li>Willingness to work long hours (weekends and holidays included)</li>
<li>Basic equipment operation skills</li>
