SUMMARY
The responsibilities of the Manufacturing Technician position include maintaining high sanitary standards throughout the preparation, set-up, and operation of the designated jobs, while meeting the high-quality manufacturing specifications within a safe work environment. The Manufacturing Technician will be a driver of continuous improvement in all department and organizational results, including but not limited to; Safety, Quality, Appearance, Reliability and Cost. Operators advancing to Manufacturing Tech III will to continue to conduct the responsibilities learned during Tech I and II while attaining and building on leadership skills. Individuals attaining Tech III will responsible for both team and personal performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES REQUIRED: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

<li>Operate and monitor assigned machine(s) to detect product defects and/or machine malfunctions.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot issues related to product quality, formulation and machine performance.</li>
<li>Perform job duties within the established quality control guidelines of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).</li>
<li>Complete all job related documentation accurately and timely.</li>
<li>Maintain high sanitary standards of cleanliness of work space, equipment, and materials at all times.</li>
<li>Perform cleaning duties of workspace to maintain sanitary conditions before, during, and after processing a new job.</li>
<li>Produce products that are defect-free, properly identified, and within the established standards of the master batch record.</li>
<li>Utilize hand tools, power tools, pallet jacks, and other tools as required to perform essential job duties.</li>

POSITION SUMMARY: The Line Operator 2 serves as the front line of the production operation and is responsible for the basic operations of the extrusion lines and will assist with training new hires in the process. As they continue to expand their knowledge by learning to operate various production lines, the Line Operator 2 works to develop a more in-depth understanding of quality standards. The Line Operator 2 must be knowledgeable in and follow all procedures needed to ensure the proper safe and efficient operation of their production line. Position works under established guidelines and company policy. 
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
<ul>
<li>Performs basic production duties such as loading cores onto the core table; pulling trim; adjusting roll widths; preparing the finished product by pulling, lifting, labeling, and packaging the finished stretch film rolls, Inspecting the visual quality of the rolls and removing rolls that don’t meet established quality standards, has gained a thorough understanding of roll weight computer systems and their use to accurately weigh rolls and/or boxes of finished product; reporting finished products on required documents; cutting and preparing scrap bins for recycling.</li>
<li>Prepares product for shipping by setting up the skids with required packaging materials, and packing trays or boxes with finished rolls, could involve manually pre-wrapping trays with stretch film before being sent to the automated wrapper or wrapping them by hand depending on plant procedures, moving completed skids through the safe and effective use of manual and electric pallet jacks.</li>
<li>May begin to train on and perform duties on various lines, rewinders, and other required areas of the production floor to increase knowledge and fulfill staffing needs.</li>

Maintenance Technician Engineer
The Maintenance Technician Engineer is responsible for ensuring equipment uptime and reliability by quick in-depth troubleshooting and repair of all equipment failures in addition to performing routine maintenance. Qualifications, Education and Experience

<li>Excellent communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills to communicate and coordinate effectively with internal personnel.</li>

<li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and to deal with problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.</li>
<li>Work in a manufacturing plant utilizing computers, dollies, forklift, hand tools, safety knives, tape measure, packaging equipment, pallet jacks, and standard safety equipment.</li>
<li>Utilize resource materials including production schedule and standardized forms/paperwork.</li>
<li>Vision capabilities include color vision, close vision distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.</li>
<li>Must be able to work overtime as needed.</li>
