Gross Anatomy is taught in the first semester and is focused on team-teaching and, as such, faculty have adequate time to engage in research and/or writing. The UMHS academic year has three semesters; therefore, teaching responsibilities occur throughout the year.&nbsp; UMHS has a state-of-the-art anatomy dissection laboratory which allows a 6/1 student to&nbsp;cadaver.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Responsibilities include:
1. Developing and providing students with approved syllabi and learning objectives. 2. Organizing, preparing, and regularly updating course content 3. Delivering effective lectures utilizing a variety of teaching techniques and state of the art &nbsp; teaching technologies. 4. Preparing and administering examinations, grading in a timely manner, and providing feedback to students. 5. Focusing on student success by being available to students during non-teaching time. 6. Serving on faculty committees. 7. Supervising students in a variety of activities, including but not limited to, problem based learning activities, and human-computer simulation.. 8. Participate in activities assigned by the department chair and/or University administration.

• Passion for teaching. • Earned Ph.D. in Gross Anatomy. • Three to five years’ experience teaching in a medical program. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
 
Course description:&nbsp;Gross and Developmental Anatomy focuses on the gross structure of organs and their function, and through clinical correlations, relates each to clinical medicine.&nbsp; An Anatomical Learning Resource Center has been established to utilize computer-based instruction, anatomical models, radiographic materials as well as supervised laboratory sessions dissecting various parts of the human body.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Students study the structure and function of all organs with some interaction with cellular structure.&nbsp; This course incorporates an understanding of how embryological processes give rise to the mature body form.&nbsp; When this course is complete, each student will have extensive knowledge of the gross anatomy and development of the entire human body as it relates clinically to the practice of medicine.
Salary and Benefits: &nbsp;The position is full time and the salary is commensurate with teaching experience and degree.&nbsp; The faculty member is provided with an excellent health care plan which covers both US and St. Kitts health care. &nbsp; Since there are three fifteen week semesters the faculty member has seven weeks’ vacation a year which comes as the last two weeks in May, August, and three weeks in December.&nbsp; Faculty are also provided an annual one week leave with expenses to attend a pre-approved professional convention. Qualifications
Candidates should possess an MFA in a studio art discipline by the time of appointment. Candidate should have university-level teaching experience with an emphasis on drawing from direct observation and the elements and principles essential to 2D design. The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching drawing and 2D design classes within the foundations area of our department. The ability to work collaboratively with other foundations faculty to maintain the studios and in developing a consistent curriculum is essential. A strong record of creative scholarship and evidence of an active exhibition record is preferred. The ability to seek external funding is strongly encouraged to support research. Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience in one or more of the following: undergraduate mentoring; engagement with programs directed toward first-generation students; direction and supervision of undergraduate research.

Executive Legal Administrator

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Biology has 17 tenure-track/tenured faculty with a variety of research interests, as well as lecturers and technicians who provide pivotal support. The department offers undergraduate and graduate programs. The department has facilities for 3D printing, cell culture and stem cell research, animal care, and plant growth. The CSUSB herbarium hosts a small collection (about 4,000 specimens) of mostly local flora. In addition, the department has access to the College of Natural Science’s Electron Microscope and Image Analysis Center (EMIAC). Assistant Professor of Biology- Plant Organismal Biology

The Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD) seeks to appoint an assistant or associate professor on the tenure track to teach, conduct research, and engage with practitioners in the interdisciplinary field of real estate. The successful candidate will play a major role in Harvard’s new one-year Master in Real Estate (MRE) degree program, which covers the traditional skills and knowledge required of all real estate professionals as well as ways in which well-designed real estate can advance beneficial spatial, social, and environmental outcomes. Assistant Director for Resource Management Services

The incumbent will work under the overall supervision of the Vice-President (Academic Affairs), and functionally under the Head of Port Management. As a faculty member at the World Maritime University, the Assistant Professor is expected to provide teaching/mentoring and research and publication and promote inter-university cooperation in areas related to maritime economics and management.
The Assistant Professor of Maritime Economics and Management is expected to contribute to the overall efforts of WMU to strengthen the economics component in its academic programmes. This position is therefore open to candidates with a wide range of interests and expertise in economic and management matters related to shipping and port operations and management. Areas of focus of potential candidates for this position may include, among others, maritime economics, business, and management.
