<li>Responsible for providing high-quality coaching, guided reflection, training, and technical assistance to Head Start and Early Head Start Instructional Coaches on best practices related to early learning and supporting the social-emotional development of all students in compliance with comprehensive Head Start Performance Standards.</li>
<li>Implement a research-based, coordinated coaching strategy for Instructional Coaches to provide to education staff</li>
<li>Assess all education staff to identify strengths, areas of needed support, and which staff would benefit most from intensive coaching;</li>
<li>Coordinate, participate, and align development with the programs School Readiness Reviews (SRR) and School Readiness Goals and Program performance goals</li>
<li>Perform management and administrative functions to ensure delivery of program objectives and requirements within the area of specialization.</li>
<li>Work with community partners and others to develop initiatives that promote positive community relations.</li>
<li>Attend meetings and provide reports to the Board of Directors, Policy Council, or special committees as requested by the Head Start Director.</li>
<li>Travel between sites to complete work, attend meetings, and professional development seminars.</li>
<li>Attends parent meetings and monthly staff meetings as requested by Program Director.</li>
<li>Serve as OWBC/Head Start representative on committees, boards, community groups, and businesses.</li>
<li>Adhere to OWBC ethics expectations</li>
<li>Conducts regular visits of Head Start centers to provide on-site consultation to Center Directors and determine training needs and other initiatives identified within the area of Education.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Center Director and Instructional Coaches to ensure classroom initiatives and curriculum are being met securing appropriate approvals before delivery.</li>
<li>Serves as mentor/coach to Center Directors and directly supervises Instructional Coaches.</li>
<li>Provide Professional Development for all Head Start staff as required.</li>
<li>Works with all coordinators to provide on-site consultation and determine training needs.</li>
<li>Plan and facilitate training events in collaboration with Professional Development Coordinator.</li>
<li>Analyzes teacher assessment data to create a strategic coaching plan.</li>
<li>Analyzes child outcome data to develop school readiness needs and goals.</li>
<li>Coordinate and compile the Head Start inventory list (education games, computers, furnishings, toys, etc.)</li>
<li>Leads annual Self-assessment</li>
<li>Analyzes and assesses self-assessment data to develop program improvement plan and training and technical assessment.</li>
<li>Reviews and updates Program Implementation plan.</li>
<li>Maintains and reviews required documents used by instructional coaches.</li>
<li>Maintains and revises program inventory.</li>
<li>Maintains and revises quarterly classroom supply sheet</li>
<li>Ensures active and ongoing communication between the coach, program director, and any other relevant staff</li>
<li>Must be able to cooperate and work effectively with others</li>
<li>Must be diplomatic, honest, and fair</li>
<li>Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of the position</li>

Minimum Qualifications Experience: Four (4) years of related professional experience in social services or related field Licenses/Certifications: Valid Texas drivers license. Obtain and keep current adult and pediatric CPR and first aid certifications.
