Employment Status: Hourly (Non-exempt)

We will determine salary based on skills and experience in relation to the function of the role, as well as equity to any other employees in the same or similar role.

Job Summary:
The Construction Project Coordinator is a key member of the project team. They support the Project Leads and Managers in the day-to-day efforts of running a project. Their main duties include maintaining budgets and work schedules, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring all deadlines for assigned projects are met. They increase the team’s effectiveness by providing data management support, organizing documents, managing electronic files, navigating databases, pulling reports, auditing reports, and communicating with the customer. 
Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
· Support Project Leads and Managers to ensure projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets.
· Assist in assigning project tasks to relevant parties and check in for status updates.
· Coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
· Liaise with management and clients to identify and define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals.
· Ensure project related documents, databases and systems are stored and managed properly per organizations best practices.
· Collect, monitor, and analyze operational and financial data in order to:
o Support internal and customer required status reporting.
o Help track and ensure internal cycle times are met.
o Communicate job status to Program/Project Managers and customers as necessary.
o Internally identify any potential roadblocks to avoid missed due dates.
Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:
General
· High school diploma or GED equivalent (bachelor’s degree preferred).
· In field or in office telecommunications engineering or construction experience preferred.
· Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
· Deadline driven, self-motivated, and technically savvy.
· Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
· Superior time management skills.
· Extremely organized with strong attention to detail.
· Ability to be flexible, take direction with ease, including changes to schedule and workflow priorities.

Technical
· Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, PDF editing and manipulation.
· Ability to learn new systems and databases quickly.
· Familiarity with GIS systems.
· Experience using project management software preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
· The employee is regularly required to sit, reach with hands and arms, speak, and hear.

<li>Constructs, builds, repairs, and inspects Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC) networks to provide voice, video, and data to residential and commercial customers.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Coordinates with other utilities for permits, joint trench, pole applications, and service issues.</li>

Construction Planner I
<ul>
<li>Performs field engineering of proposed projects and ensures alternative routing delivers the most cost effective design for construction.</li>
<li>Coordinates all customer implementation activities including site walk-throughs, node placements and subcontract labor.</li>
<li>Coordinates contractor work, coordinate and/or obtains permits, access, or ROW agreements where applicable, distributes design prints and other necessary working documents. Negotiates and approves design or construction changes.</li>
<li>Researches and reviews plans, gathers necessary data and listing material requirements for project.</li>
<li>Coordinates with public works personnel, developers, commercial customers, building owners, and utilities on joint trench projects.</li>
<li>Maintains workflow databases and updates schedules. Participates in managing and estimating (revenue-delete) cost forecasts, material planning, capital and expense budgets.</li>
<li>Estimates construction costs, prepares budgets, and tracks expenses.</li>
<li>Participates in managing and estimating revenue forecasts, material planning, capital and expense budgets.</li>
<li>Verifies serviceability, surveys proposed service routing, and estimates material, construction, and labor costs.</li>
<li>Initiates customer contacts, coordinates and/or secures access or ROW agreements, completes route designs, and takes necessary steps to meet customer needs.</li>
<li>May order materials or coordinate with administrative personnel; may verify and reconcile invoices.</li>
<li>May plan and allocate fibers for splicing and activation.</li>
<li>May inspect construction work or coordinate inspection assignments. -Releases addresses as serviceable and notifies other departments of serviceability.</li>
<li>As projects are completed, perform tasks to close tasks in database/tool, reconcile assets, and generate reports to ensure proper closure of project.</li>

Typical Training / Experience:
