<li>The Energy Engineer Intern will work alongside Energy Engineers in our Energy Services and in collaboration with our Sales, Proposal, and Construction teams to develop and secure energy projects.</li>
<li>Training and Technology: Microsoft Excel, Energy Engineering practices, Procore, BG HVAC 101</li>
<li>Job Site experience: Conduct site walkthroughs and energy surveys of buildings, communicate with customers, and learn to evaluate Lighting Systems</li>
<li>Team Meetings: Observe and participate in Energy Services and Project meetings</li>
<li>Utility Bills: Develop the ability to read utility bills and prepare a Utility Data Analysis</li>
<li>Energy Solutions: Learn to develop Solutions with State of the Art, complete write-ups and prepare spreadsheets of Solutions</li>
<li>Sales: Participate in collaborations with the Sales team to develop final projects and attend presentations to customers</li>

We are searching for a motivated and enthusiastic interns to join our dynamic team at HWC Engineering. As an intern, you will work closely with our experienced professionals on various multi-disciplinary projects including Road &amp; Bridge Design, Water Resources, Construction Inspection, Land Survey, Land Development, Landscape Architecture, Urban and Regional Planning, and Economic Development. <li>Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about engineering challenges.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.</li>
<li>Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work output.</li>
<li>Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a collaborative team environment.</li>
<li>Previous internship experience or exposure to civil engineering projects is a plus.</li>
