Job Summary and Qualifications
&nbsp; GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Performs all Nuclear Medicine procedures according to established policies and procedures, methods and standards to provide quality patient care.

<li>&nbsp;Perform non-clinical activities pertinent to equipment maintenance and NRC regulations for Quality Control and radiation monitoring.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintain appropriate supplies and a clean, organized work environment.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Participate in continuing education activities to expand/enhance knowledge of Nuclear Medicine.&nbsp;</li>

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Nuclear Medicine Technologists are responsible for performing Nuclear Medicine examinations, with protocols as outlined by the Radiologist and Cardiologist. Scope of practice in nuclear medicine technology includes, but not limited to, the following areas and responsibilities: operation of nuclear medicine instrumentation; performance of diagnostic procedures, patient care, quality control, handling of radiopharmaceuticals, usage of adjunctive medications, invitro diagnostic testing, radionuclide therapy, and radiation safety.
What qualifications you will need:

<li>ARRT(N) OR NMTCB required with 45-day grace period. SCRQSA Required on hire. BLS required on hire.</li>
<li>Graduate of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Program. Nuclear Medicine Technologist may complete a one- or two year certificate program, a two year associate’s degree, or a four-year bachelor’s degree. Baccalaureate degree preferred.</li>
<li>Clinical experience is required in accordance with accredited education program. Working experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist is preferred.</li>
<li>(CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date</li>

Minimum Education, Skills, and Abilities
<ul>
<li>Associate degree or higher in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field (Radiopharmacy, Radiation Physics, Radiation Safety, or Instrumentation).</li>
<li>Current ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB or related certification.</li>
<li>Minimum of two (2) years of full-time clinical experience in nuclear medicine technology or related field (Radiopharmacy, Radiation Physics, Radiation Safety, or Instrumentation)</li>
<li>Strong communication skills and a commitment to student success.</li>
<li>Ability to work with diverse student populations.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate and facilitate learning effectively and work collaboratively;</li>
<li>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations;</li>
<li>Ability to write reports, class assignments and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to students and respond to questions from individuals as well as groups of students and chairs/directors;</li>
