The administrative assistant delivers support services to selected San José State University students. ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Maintains expenditure records by specific budget category. Creates and maintains computerized spreadsheets for budget monitoring and control. Reviews and verifies all computer printouts on program budget status prepared by SJSU Research Foundation accounting office.</li>
<li>Prepares quarterly budget reports and projected budget reports for the program director to monitor spending and the effective use of funds.</li>
<li>Assists the director in managing the program budgets and ensuring compliance with TRiO legislation and regulations as stated by the Department of Education.</li>
<li>Assists the director to ensure compliance in accordance with the grant contract with the U.S. Department of Education and SJSU Research Foundation policies and procedures.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Onboarding student staff and monitoring their daily tasks.</li>

<li>Coordinates office workflow and maintenance of files and records between ASPIRE and the McNair Scholars Programs.</li>

The Jacksonville Symphony Advancement Department raises fundsthrough donations from individuals, corporations, foundations, thepublic sector, and special events to support artistic andeducational programming and general operating expenses. TheDirector of Major Gifts will be responsible for increasing majorgifts from both individual donors and corporate sponsors, on alocal, regional, and national level. The Major Gifts Officer willwork to increase support by cultivating and stewarding effectiverelationships by maintaining an active fundraising schedule thatincludes strategic visits, and ongoing cultivation andsolicitation. The Associate Dean will play a crucial role in leadership for the College of Education and Professional Studies (CEPS) in the years ahead. The Associate Dean collaborates with the Dean and CEPS Administrative team on planning and implementing college strategic initiatives. The Role:
The Associate Dean is a leadership partner to the Dean. Primary responsibilities include supervision, coordination and leadership for all curricular issues, general education, and graduate education; implementation of College of Education and Professional Studies (CEPS) courses, programs and strategic priorities; and policy coordination. The Associate Dean also serves on a variety of college and university committees and acts in the Dean's absence.&nbsp;
