Job Description:
This role will be based at a 250-person international food additives manufacturing facility whose parent company operates multiple US and overseas plants. This person will be part of the site engineering team (which includes process and project engineers) and will lead the mechanical integrity program. Specifically, this person will serve as the site engineer for tank and pressure relief valve inspections and complete design through installation of projects of up to a million dollars on projects related to either repair or replacement fixed equipment. This company has an excellent relocation policy as well, providing for moving costs, the costs of breaking a lease or selling and home, and a house-hunting trip to the area.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:

<li>B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering with 3+ years of post-college, industry experience, with 5+ being ideal.</li>

Description
Boilermakers perform inspections, fabricate, assemble, modify and perform maintenance and repairs on locomotives in full compliance with FRA and Union Pacific requirements. Must be able to locate and isolate mechanical problems, identify possible corrective actions and select appropriate action. &nbsp;
Accountabilities
<ul>
<li>Fabricate, assemble and modify&nbsp;locomotive structures, parts, heavy sheet metal components and parts using welding, cutting, riveting, bolting, soldering and grinding.</li>
<li>Work with shop machines, tools, vehicles and equipment (including,but not limited to, drill and punch presses, drills, impact wrenches, power saws, grinders, acetylene and plasma&nbsp;torches, electric and gas welding equipment).</li>
<li>Safely and effectively operate the following: acetylene torches, plasma torches,&nbsp;non-power tools (pliers, wrenches, etc); power tools (drills, power saws, grinders); electric and gas welding equipment</li>
<li>Weld all types of metals including iron, steel, stainless steel and aluminum.</li>
<li>Demonstrate proficiency in welding techniques. including gas, brazing, SMAW, MIG and TIG, in various welding positions.</li>

Qualifications - Required

Summary of Multiple Positions for Day and Night Shift:
A Journeyman Pipefitter has a minimum of 4 years experience and performs and knows how to fabricate butt weld pipe, threaded pipe, and socket weld pipe; is able to identify and install above, underground and specialty piping, hangers and supports, valves and inline specialties; and understands how to perform stress relieving aligning and testing. A Journey Level Pipefitter masters mathematical functions and knows their applications to pipefitting. They are also able to properly identify and master hand tools, power tools, and equipment, including equipment for rigging and their procedures.
 
A Journeyman Boilermaker has a minimum of 4 years heavy industrial experience in all aspects of safe boiler and boiler component assembly and maintenance including welding, fabrication, and stress relieving. A boilermaker is also knowledgeable in oxyfuel cutting, identifying and installing valves, gaskets, hangers and supports, rigging, and able to read boiler drawings and detail sheets.
 
A Foreman/General Foreman has a minimum of 4 years in their discipline and at least 2 years as a supervisor managing crew of 8-10.
 
A Pipe Helper has a minimum of 1 year experience in their discipline and assists journeyman level craft by performing support tasks on construction projects such as erecting, wrecking, repairing, maintaining equipment and performing janitorial functions
Qualifications:

<li>Four (4) years minimum heavy industrial field experience as a Pipefitter or Boilermaker for JM level</li>
<li>Able to correctly execute material take offs, figure offsets, take off to fittings and rigging.</li>
