Keuka China Programs is seeking qualified faculty to teach in person in our Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) and Bachelor of Science in Accounting (BSA) programs in China for Fall 2023. &nbsp;Applicants are invited to apply for the adjunct teaching assignments in Fall 2023 that range from 8 to 16 weeks period.&nbsp; Teaching locations include Fujian Province, Yunnan Province and Henan Province, China.
Keuka College, New York, U.S.A. holds approval by the Chinese government to deliver a cooperative program for students at its Chinese partner universities.

General Summary:&nbsp;&nbsp;Under the direction of the University President, the Vice President for Administration &amp; Finance serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the University.&nbsp;&nbsp;The VPAF administers the University budget as well as supervises the Business Office, Human Resources, Office of Financial Aid, Facilities, Security and Safety, and the Office of Information Technology. The VPAF is also responsible for the outsourced Bookstore, general contract administration, regulation administration, The University’s annual budget, fiscal policies, and other services as assigned.&nbsp;&nbsp;The VPAF works closely with various State of North Dakota governing and regulating agencies.
Primary Responsibilities:&nbsp;
Business Office&nbsp;- Responsible for the accurate accounting and budgeting of appropriated and non-appropriated funds to include payroll and student accounts. Human Resources&nbsp;- Responsible for talent acquisition, salary administration, employee training, and appropriate application of&nbsp;&nbsp;HR policies, procedures, and practices. May coordinate on the process of position creation and management. Student Financial Aid&nbsp;- Responsible for accurate accounting and disbursement of student financial aid; federal funds, scholarships, grants, waivers, and awards used by students for tuition, books, and fees. Facilities Management&nbsp;- Responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of all buildings and grounds of the University.&nbsp;&nbsp;Provides oversight for new construction and renovation of buildings. Campus Safety and Security&nbsp;- Provides security services 24/7, Clery Act reporting, and safety measures. &nbsp;Information Technology Center&nbsp;- Provides for the physical infrastructure, security and support of all campus network and communication lines, computers and related I.T. equipment on campus. Bookstore&nbsp;- Responsible for the oversight of bookstore operations (currently contracted with Barnes &amp; Noble) Coordination with North Dakota University System office&nbsp;- Responds to requests for information from the NDUS and SBHE, assists with presentations as necessary and serves as a member of the NDUS Administrative Affairs Council. Budget Administration&nbsp;- Coordinates the budget requests and development processes. Secondary Responsibilities:
Dining Services&nbsp;- Coordinates with the VPSA to manage the food services contract (currently contracted with Sodexo).&nbsp;&nbsp;Sets board rates in conjunction with food services personnel. Residence Life&nbsp;- Coordinates with the VPSA to maintain residence halls for safety, security, and student satisfaction.&nbsp;&nbsp;Accounts for charges and receipts regarding student residence fees.&nbsp;&nbsp;Sets room rates in connection with residence life personnel. Dakota College at Bottineau&nbsp;- Coordinates with DCB personnel to provide advice and assistance as necessary.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) William Goodloe,the CAO will be a leader in lifting the current org-widedevelopment efforts to new levels of success by broadening ways toattract and more deeply engage with national foundations,corporations, and individual philanthropists over time – to becomestrategic sources of revenue. The CAO will also work closely withSEO’s professional programs and its Marketing &amp; Communicationsteam to utilize SEO’s legacy of impact closing opportunity gaps toincrease national brand recognition as a whole. The CAO will serveon the Executive Committee of SEO’s Executive Leadership Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Fundraising:
<ul>
<li>Drive a strategy to raise roughly an additional $10 - 15m+ inannual revenue for SEO general program support and Scholars programsupport from a variety of philanthropic sources (annual giving,major gifts, corporate and foundation relations, alumni) andspecial events (an annual gala that consistently generates $8m+ inunrestricted funds and several smaller events focused on theScholars program and general SEO support).</li>
<li>Leverage SEO’s existing ecosystem and activate SEO’s untappednetworks within the spaces where the organization currentlyoperates, including private equity and corporate partnerorganizations.</li>
<li>In collaboration with the CEO, senior staff and Board ofDirectors, develop long-range strategies to significantly increasephilanthropic giving and serve as the key strategist for specific“asks.”</li>
<li>Build and streamline a development model that accounts formajor donor funding from various avenues, including those ofpartner and expansion offices, to ensure coordination and maximizedonor engagement.</li>
<li>Lead the positioning of SEO for further national expansion byestablishing and deepening relationships with all relevant internaland external partners/ constituents.</li>
<li>Monitor prospect portfolios for the CEO, staff, board, andexpansion offices. Serve as an advisor and collaborator to theexpansion offices.</li>
<li>Craft compelling cases for support of unrestricted funds thatmaximize relationships with current donors and cultivate andconvert new donors.</li>
<li>Serve as a front-line cultivator and solicitor. Cultivate andsteward donors; make significant requests for support from majordonors, board members, foundations, and corporations.</li>
<li>Ensure comprehensive, timely, and innovative stewardship of allgifts.</li>
<li>In collaboration with Development Team, ensure the continuedsuccess of the annual SEO awards dinner, securing sponsors andhonorees for the organization’s biggest fundraising night of theyear.</li>

Strategic Leadership:

<li>Effectively lead and organize the development team’s day-to-dayoperations and budgets; streamline processes and procedures.</li>
<li>Serve as subject matter expert and partner to CEO in developinglong term strategy.</li>
<li>Serve as a member of the Executive Committee of theorganization, collaborating with other members and leading aworkplace characterized by mutual respect and open discussion inwhich all strive for excellence and innovation.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain a strong partnership with Board membersand leverage the Board to advance SEO’s fundraising activities. Asappropriate, cultivate and maintain relationships with ExpansionOffices’ advisory boards.</li>
<li>Provide support to Board members in the identification,cultivation and solicitation of their portfolios of prospectivemajor donors.</li>
<li>Develop a diverse and highly skilled staff that iswell-prepared to meet the ongoing challenges of a first-ratemission-driven organization.</li>
<li>Nurture and mentor team members and provide opportunities formeaningful work, enhance their skills and develop theircareers.</li>
<li>Create and foster an inclusive, DEIB focused environment amongstaff.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>15+ years of experience in a development or advancement rolefor a mission driven organization. 10+ years in a leadershipposition preferred.</li>

COMPENSATION &amp; BENEFITS&nbsp;
The benchmarked base salary range for this position is$250,000 - $300,000.
 This executive position also qualifies for SEO’s annual ManagementIncentive Plan (MIP) bonus based on individual and organizationalperformance. The Associate Dean will play a crucial role in leadership for the College of Education and Professional Studies (CEPS) in the years ahead. The Associate Dean collaborates with the Dean and CEPS Administrative team on planning and implementing college strategic initiatives. This includes supporting CEPS administrative leaders in equity-focused program assessment and accreditation, culturally responsive curriculum and program development, cultivation of business and community partnerships, and strategic management of course offerings and scheduling for the college. The Associate Dean also has an important role in facilitating the implementation of policies and procedures related to the college and the university. The Role:
The Associate Dean is a leadership partner to the Dean. Primary responsibilities include supervision, coordination and leadership for all curricular issues, general education, and graduate education; implementation of College of Education and Professional Studies (CEPS) courses, programs and strategic priorities; and policy coordination. The Associate Dean also serves on a variety of college and university committees and acts in the Dean's absence.&nbsp;
Job Duties Support for the Dean: -&nbsp;Collaborate with the Dean on planning college strategic initiatives, participate in college fundraising, and coordinate implementation of CEPS strategic priorities. -&nbsp;Provide CEPS administrative leaders support in areas of culturally responsive curriculum development, equity-focused institutional assessment and improvement, human resource management, faculty/staff development and performance evaluations, and budget and finance. -&nbsp;Support the Dean in decision-making, information gathering, report draft preparation, meeting attendance, and follow-through on matters assigned to the chairs and interdisciplinary program directors. -&nbsp;Collaborate with the other Associate Deans. -&nbsp;Collaborate to ensure program quality and effectiveness and to promote student learning, student satisfaction, and student retention in all student populations. -&nbsp;Attend Associate Deans and Academic Affairs meetings. -&nbsp;Act in the Dean’s absence.
Academic Programs and Curricular Management: -&nbsp;Provide strategic management of general education, graduate education, and major program and course offerings, as well as new program development. -&nbsp;Assist with CurricuLog approval changes. -&nbsp;Review and approve course schedules. -&nbsp;Attend Faculty Senate Curriculum Committee meetings. -&nbsp;Support collaboration across units with graduate education and research, including grant proposals. -&nbsp;Provide consultations and advocacy for student concerns.
Communications/Community/College: -&nbsp;Work closely with the Dean, the Director of Development, and the Alumni Relations Coordinator to assist in program development activities and newsletter articles. - Encourage and support business, industry, and community partnerships. -&nbsp;Assist with media relations pertaining to CEPS programs. -&nbsp;Interact with faculty, administrators, staff, students, alumni, other University constituencies, and outside agencies.
Policy Coordination and Committee Membership: -&nbsp;Represent the college on committees as assigned. -&nbsp;Work with the Dean to maintain policies and procedures related to the college and the university. -&nbsp;Approve grade changes, incompletes, independent studies, and internships consistent with university and program policies.

Minimum Qualifications Earned doctorate from an accredited institution in a discipline associated with programs represented in the College of Education and Professional Studies. A record of teaching effectiveness, professional leadership, and scholarship sufficient to support tenure in one of the CEPS’s academic departments. Demonstrated successful departmental or college-level administrative, leadership, and budget experience in an institution of higher education. Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of inclusion and equity issues within a residential liberal arts environment Collaborative and forward-thinking leadership style with the ability to cultivate and maintain strategic internal and external partnerships to benefit the success of students, colleagues, and initiatives. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated expertise in analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data. Experience with culturally responsive curriculum development and with assessment of programmatic, general education, and course-level outcomes for accreditation.
