Job Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Provide a positive experience throughout the entire patient interaction; from contacting to greeting, seating and completing their in-clinic visit</li>
<li>Exhibiting excellent customer service to create a positive patient experience and ensuring all treatment is provided with an awareness of individual patient’s needs and concerns</li>
<li>Comprehensive review of medical history and taking of vitals</li>
<li>Gather assessment data on patients including vitals and medical history, x-rays,intra and extra oral cancer screening, existing teeth and restorations, comprehensive periodontal charting. Present findings to dentist upon exam. </li>
<li>Treatment plan recommended procedures, as prescribed by the dentist and present the treatment plan to the patient.</li>
<li>Completion of an intra and extra oral cancer screening</li>
<li>Perform thorough routine cleanings and non-surgical periodontal therapy as prescribed by the dentist</li>
<li>Assessment of caries risk and recommendations of preventative services, such and sealants and fluoride treatments, as prescribed by the dentist. </li>
<li>Take radiographs and intraoral photos as prescribed by the dentist</li>
<li>Operatory maintence following OSHA guidelines, including waterline and suction maintenance</li>

We are seeking a Dental Hygienist that shares our passion for patient care and education, as well as creating a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Perform periodontal procedures in a manner that is best for the patient in accordance with all state dental board requirements</li>
<li>Educate patients on strategies to prevent, diagnose, and treat periodontal disease as well as maintaining their oral health. Discuss the links between periodontal conditions and overall systemic health</li>
<li>Chart conditions of periodontal disease for collaboration with the Dentist to develop the appropriate treatment plan</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with the team on scheduling, ensuring an exceptional patient experience, and maintaining the condition of the practice and equipment</li>
</ul>
Qualifications 
<ul>
<li>Dental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Dental Board with no adverse actions</li>
<li>Two (2) + years' experience as a licensed Dental Hygienist preferred but not required</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills with both the team and patients</li>
<li>Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with dental software, experience with Dentrix preferred</li>
